Disappearing skyscrapers.....

This is what Aimee saw while walking across the Horseshoe Bridge from Northbridge into the city on her way to work early (7am) on Thursday morning, the shot below is from her office on the 13th floor, the tops of the skyscrapers were mysteriously enveloped in a thick blanket of fog, caused by the higher than usual humidity levels, somewhere in the 90% range at that time according to the Bureau of Meteorology, seriously uncomfortable! Thanks for letting me use these super shots Aimee. Hope you have a good weekend, it's a busy one for me here in Perth..thank goodness for painkillers haha! Take care and stay safe. p.s. thanks so much for all the anniversary wishes :)

  3. What struck me about the first shot, other than nice fog, was the architectural contrasts. Delightful! I really like the fog in the 2nd shot.

Happy belated anniversary. I've been really busy and not blogging as much as I would like.

  4. When I was working in Chicago, I used to see fog like this quite often. I always enjoyed it. It make things seem sort of mysterious.

  10. Very moody shots, Aimee! Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Lowell... the stark contrast in architecture really does stand out.

  11. I don't associate Perth with fog. I like that there can be tall buildings and historic and proportioned streetscapes kept.

  13. Not many skyscrapers in my home town, but I have seen this elsewhere and it is very strange. You got some very good pictures of this phenomenon...
