I haven't taken the ferry from South Perth over to the city since Elizabeth Quay opened in January this year.. so join me as we await the arrival of the ferry from the CBD. The ferry goes back and forth every half hour and the trip takes approximately 8 minutes..
I fibbed about the wind in your hair :) the Transperth ferry is fully enclosed.. you can probably open the windows we just didn't think to do so!
Coming into the harbour under the new bridge..
Arriving at the new ferry port in Elizabeth Quay..
Looking back as passengers board for the return journey to the south side of the river, at this time of the morning it's quite likely that they are heading for the Perth Zoo. I wonder if the
captain ferry driver (?) ever feels like rebelling and zig-zagging off up the Swan River :) Happy Friday, take care and stay safe....
