Reflections of the heritage listed buildings on the city side of Wellington Street reflected in one of the new glass buildings that are part of the Perth City Link which will join the CBD and Northbridge. Both sides of the link are having a bit of a facelift.. the project due to be completed next year. Not 100% sure but I think this new building below is an oil exploration company and the huge ship in the window made with Lego a model of a mobile oil rig, I could be wrong :) Happy weekend, take care and stay safe...
I always enjoy your reflection shots, Grace!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing the things that experts can do with Lego! Nice reflections, Grace!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Grace, lovely reflections. I'm impressed with the Lego construction, but suspect this is cheaper than the models that various companies in oil exploration, marine insurance etc commissioned in the past. Some of these, I know, are valued at thousands of £s.
ReplyDeleteMy grandkids are Lego nuts.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Grace. Lego is still popular everywhere with kids and artists. I saw one that was made in the image of a sport athlete who is retiring. Maybe someone can build a nice new world where everyone gets along.
ReplyDeletecool reflections and lego too!! ew
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections Grace, I like that Lego ship.
ReplyDeleteMighty impressive, whatever it is.
ReplyDeleteFascinating!
ReplyDeleteAh Lego! My basement has a huge box of it ready for the onslaught of my little people in a building mood. And I never have to worry about what to buy for birthdays or Christmas, the universal gift is always Lego.
ReplyDeleteLove that huge ship. I know we have a lot of Lego, but not quite that much!

Apparently you can hire people to make Lego models like these and I believe they are quite well paid. The oil rig looks very impressive and kids will think oil rigs are wonderful things. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteA lovely reflection shot Grace ... Lego is just brilliant, from a couple of pieces to thousands of pieces.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Made with Legos? Wow....
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections on those windows. Just remember, someone gets paid to build with legos. My grandsons would love that job, and be good at it too.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Grace! Oh, my. Will I recognise anything when being back???
ReplyDeleteVery unique. Hope you are enjoying your week end Grace.
ReplyDeleteYes, two of my favorite things, old buildings and Lego building too! Your capture is quite impressive too!
