A nod to the past..

Was thrilled to come across this incroyably colourful collaboration captained by Perth artist Mel McVee aka Melski when we were in Elizabeth Quay last week. Described as a 20m x 2.4m 'paint by numbers' affair involving much community participation, it's all about the riverfront along the Swan River. The black swans, the rowing clubs and my favourite aspect the Perth City Baths c1900, check out the link, how I would have loved to see the wonderful old Moorish design bath house with it's four towers topped with cupolas! You can see Kings Park up there in the background with the State War Memorial to the left. Hope you've had/are having a good weekend, happy Monday, take care and stay safe..
