In the city yesterday for lunch at 140THURSDAY.. couldn't have been a more perfect spring day. It's school hols here in Oz and 140Thursday is all about food and fun in the city without breaking the bank for mum and dad. It was business as usual in the many incroyable eateries in 140, but they were also running food stalls outside their venues selling mini meals for $5.00. Probably not the best idea when one is determined to lose that extra ten five kilos, so I lifted my eyes heavenwards, took these shots and prayed for will-power :)
All was going well, I had the tastiest mini burger from Ribs & Burgers, not so bad I hear you say.. until we espied Max & Sons, the blueberry and elder-flower donuts created by Chouchou cakes were unpassable :) the devil made me do it! Happy Friday, take care and stay safe... p.s. you didn't really want to see pictures of many marvelous munchies did you :)
When faced with such delicious baked goods, one's will power can hold out only for so long! I'm sure it tasted as good as it looks....:)
ReplyDeleteI put on 3 pounds just looking at that last foto!
ReplyDeleteGreat views, far from the backroad so.
ReplyDeleteI have no willpower when it comes to the goodies--bring on those mini-meals!
ReplyDeleteThat does look good but I guess I'm weird cause I don't care for donuts so I'm not tempted at all but brownies, that's a different story :)
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you gave into temptation, Grace!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo's ...
ReplyDeleteI'm not a donut person, but have to say I do like blueberries ...
Glad you enjoyed the donut!
All the best Jan
Love, love, love these photos looking upwards! You could have passed on that last photo, though. I've got lots of will power, so that's a problem. I will eat that goodie, I will eat that candy bar. What I need is "won't power." But that's harder to come by.
ReplyDeleteThat donut, oh my it looks delicious, such temptation, it's too much....
ReplyDeleteNice shots of the buildings Grace. I wouldn't forego a nice dessert either...
ReplyDeleteHey, I haven't had breakfast yet. I like the idea of $5 mini meals.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful clicks. 3 no pic Amazing.
ReplyDeleteYou made me smile, temptations, temptations everywhere.... I like that first shot with the colours in the glasses.
ReplyDeleteBelos pormenores urbanos.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

ReplyDeleteI'm not fond of doughnuts, but that one looks good!
ReplyDelete"Glad" you didn´t post a pic of that burger, Grace, that muffin, pffffft :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue sky, all grey-ish over here..
Great photos and that incredible edible looks really yummy! Love the idea of looking up.
ReplyDeleteWow, your last photo looks so delicious, and all of your captures are perfectly set!
ReplyDeleteI love the first and last image.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend ( that includes food / yummy food too)
Looks like a good event. I am too wise to make any comments about a girl's weight . . .
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteThere is always something great and/or interesting going on in your city. Nice pics Grace! I especially like the first one. The bare silhouetted tree branches in front of 3 totally different buildings right next to each other.
