Never stop dreaming...

Dreams are only thoughts you didn't have time
to think about during the day...

What do you do on those nights when you're trying to get to sleep and your mind refuses to co-operate.. when it would be so good to have an off  button :) I think of a 'white space' and concentrate on keeping everything out of that space, sometimes it works, sometimes not so much! I was thrilled last weekend to find this large scale work by Perth mural and installation artist Daek William on the wall of Gemma's Health & Beauty Salon in Maylands. Breakfast at Chapels, so good.. followed by a visual feast, I call that an across the board win :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

  1. What an eye catching mural design! Very vivid.

I just lie awake and stay there- one might not sleep, but at least rest is possible. It happens every once in awhile.

  2. Wonderful mural all about dreams of color and travel. Like the way the muralist signed his work.

  3. I like this one, Grace. I hate those nights when I can't get to sleep or can't fall back asleep!

  4. Very nice mural! If I can't sleep at night, I usually put on my headphones and listen to music. Might fall asleep might not but the music relaxes me.

  8. That really is a cool mural and a great idea. Sometimes I do wonder what my dreams are all about especially when they get to be a little crazy or odd.

  9. How do these artists do these murals ...mind boggling!

My dear mum always used to say to me 'don't worry if you can't sleep, at least you are resting' ... and now should I have nights that I can't sleep I can still hear her saying that to me and it makes me smile ...

    All the best Jan

  10. Terrific mural, Grace. BTW, if anyone gives you a helpful approach to sleeplessness, send it along, OK?

  12. What a lovely mural Grace. I also have some sleepless nights once in a while when my mind refuses to switch off! I usually get up, make myself a hot chocolate, read a page or two from a book and then go back to bed and usually fall asleep then.

  15. That´s truly an awesome mural, Grace - and a nice saying, too.
A friend told me her Dad uses to say, "main thing is you´re lying and resting your body". That at least keeps me from getting nervous. An off-button would be awesome, though. I "only" have an on-button (which I am very thankful for!).

  17. Love the mural Grace :) When I'm unable to sleep I lie very still and think of nothing OR I go ahead and get up and play Farm Story or Bakery Story on my Kindle Fire :)
