Christmas under the hot Perth sky..

It was a day of firsts yesterday. My first trip into the city for ages, the first time I've picked up my camera since I don't know when, you can probably tell that from these shots :) The first time I've posted a blog in almost a month. Thank you to everyone who has emailed their concern over my absence and apologies for not answering, apart from physical fatigue I seem to have computer fatigue also, believe me I have sat down in front of my computer many times but that's as far as it has got. I am alright, a few medical issues that are being addressed. Am hoping to be up and running from the beginning of the new year. We have had a few days of really hot weather here in Perth, welcome to summer :) Here's wishing you a very happy and safe Christmas, catch you soon 💙

  1. Dearest Grace,
Your photo shows some nice clouds so it is not really hot!
Perth is at the same latitude as we live on, except we're in the northern hemisphere.
When living and working in Indonesia for 3 years we lived in the tropics. Miss that...
    Hugs,
    Mariette

    1. Despite the clouds Mariette it was 39C when I took these shots, hot and humid.. not looking forward to a long hot summer :)

  2. Good to have you back.

Christmas in summer reminds me of Florida even though it's winter in Florida. Take care of yourself Grace, and use a typewriter. They are much more fun than a PC.

  5. Grace, so good to see you back posting photos. You were missed. Also good you are starting to feel better. Know we all wish you the best. Lovely Christmas photos, and never mind that it is hot. Most of us in the Northern Hemisphere envy your warmth. Now taken it easy. You don't have to do anything you don't want to.

It is turning warm here for about a week starting tomorrow but we have been having snow and cold temps. I'm hoping there is no white Christmas.

  7. I've been wondering where you are if you're ok but you're not missing much in the internet world. I've been trying to wean myself off social media due to the negativity, it's so much better in the real world.

  8. Grace, it's good to see this post and know you're getting better. I like that Christmas tree, we just had a storm blow through here the last two days. Very strong gusty winds and power outages. Now everything seems to be going back to normal. Wish you a very happy and merry Christmas. Take care and we'll see you when you return.

  9. We see a lot of stylish public trees and for a change it is nice to see a good and fun tree. I think it is much more interesting to children.
