Care In Isolation..

'If you are searching for that one person that will change your life, take a look in the mirror'..

I came across the wonderful mural here yesterday when we were in North Perth. Titled 'Care in Isolation' it was created by Joy Artists Collective. The mural 'is a reminder of the importance of self care in tough times'. Just one aspect of the City of Vincent's Covid Arts Relief initiative during last year. Who better to give us a hug when we need one than ourselves, go on give yourself a hug right now.. feels good 💛 Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..

  2. My daugher and I hug when we need it :-) I love the cat in your previous post. Cats have such a brilliant way of looking haughty.

  3. ...If you are searching for that one person that will change your life, take a look in the mirror, never truer words.

  4. Hope you had a good Easter. Very quiet here and we are back in full lockdown! Life is getting a bit tedious now, 14 months since we have been out of the door for anything other than fortnightly shopping and Dr or Dentists appointments.
Love the mural. Keep well Diane

  5. She might be the target of anxiety or depression? But this is a lovely mural.

  6. I like this mural a lot, Grace! We can all use a hug. That is one thing I am looking for ward to when we get back to normal - hugging my friends. We are in a lockdown again for 4 weeks so it is difficult to get hugs. Have you had your vaccine? I've had one shot.

  13. Very well done. Oh, my. Some sure are isolated.
My W said, "come in, mask off!" We kept the proper distance and talked. He´s so lonely, my heart hurts.
