'The eyes tell more than words could ever say'..

You might remember the amazing 25 storey high mural here by Melbourne artist Matt Adnate back in August last year. As well as the huge endeavor on the outside the wall The Adnate has many more of his amazing artworks throughout the hotel.. above in the foyer of the hotel and below in the carpark lane-way. His work is brilliant in every respect, skin tone, texture, but for me it's the eyes, if you pull the shots in to look more closely, those eyes have experienced life's highs and lows, astounding expression. Hope you got through the weekend without going stir crazy, my garden is certainly getting a lot more attention than it's used to :) Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..

  2. Very beautiful. That last one may inspire the nose ring people to get something more than a ring.

  7. Aren't these Art Hotels just brilliant. We have several but they all focus on 20th century painters.

  12. Beautiful eyes indeed, Grace.
The first one is really stunning! The others certainly are great, also... if a tad hurtful ;-)

  13. Those eyes are magically hypnotizing Grace! Not to exaggerate much but they even look more alive than a few eyes of real people. It's very warming to see these depictions of Aborigines because most natives from the Philippines come from the same family as the Aborigines of Australia. The first photo you shared looks very much like a beautiful Filipina on native heritage. Aborigines were the first inhabitants of our islands but is now a melting pot of different cultures through the centuries that past, just like I who got my looks from a mix of Mestiza form my mother and my father's Chinese ancestry.
