Just another summer day...

One of the coolest places right in the heart of the city to sit and enjoy the summer breezes is in Central Park, the gardens that surround the Central Park building. Now, in summer under the canopy formed by the magnificent tall trees and in winter when they are stark and naked letting in the winter sunshine. Perth is having it's mildest summer in 25 years (check out yesterdays weather report). The first summer in 16 years without a 40C day! Hallelujah, I'm not complaining :) Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..

  3. It's probably not as big as Central Park in New York City, but it looks beautiful and if it can help with cool breezes on hot days, it will have served its purpose perfectly! Beautiful photo of this gorgeous place!

  13. Love the cool of this green canopy Grace. One of the best places to be on a hot summers day is in the shade of a big tree on a lush green lawn with a picnic.

  14. Thank you, Grace. That really makes it so much easier and nicer to have to look at all the naked trees and indeed, the sun is shining today, too.
