Luminous.. the art of glass blowing.

I'm digging into the archives today, not too far back, as I spent most of yesterday languishing on the sofa :) Six of the pieces in the Luminous exhibition in the Art Gallery WA back in June. At first glance some may seem a little odd, and maybe they are, but if you enlarge you will surely appreciate the creativity and the technical skill that is entailed in blowing glass. I particularly enjoyed Tom Moore's 'Buff Sandy' directly above, and 'Eyes the size of the moon' above that. You really should have a peek at his site, his delightful sense of humour shines through in all of his work. Happy Friday, take care and stay safe...

  14. One of the big reasons I've stopped posting to often on my Berlin blog is I have too many photos and I can't choose which ones to showcase. Plus I don't like spending so much time in front of the computer, especially in the summer when it's nice outside.
Anyway, hope you get to feeling better and we will enjoy your archival shots. :)
