City Daily Photo theme..'scenes from a cafe'...

For the CDP theme 'scenes from a cafe' it was a little hard to choose so I've narrowed it down to two cafes with unbeatable views. Although there are many cafes along the coast where you can spy the big blue you can't go past the Indiana on Cottesloe Beach for boundless views of the Indian Ocean. Can you imagine seeing Sculpture by the Sea from here, I'm so taking that shot for you in March! Below, if it's coffee with a side serve of city views you're after you won't be disappointed in the Botanical Cafe in Kings Park and Botanic Garden. Hope you've had/are having a good weekend, happy Monday, take care and stay safe...

  3. I should be able to get a photo for this theme day. Not a bad view from this place.

  4. Both beautiful locations. But I'll stick with the sea.

  5. Both look inviting, but the one on the beach gets my vote!

  12. From what I see here and from what I've seen in other posts, Perth appears to be teeming with, if not coffee houses, great places to eat! I'd enjoy both of these for sure!

  13. Very beautiful views Grace. Water here is always green and murky looking.

  14. Hi, Gracie...I want to go to that first one though both are nice. Love to look at t he water. Please look at my post today and see if it has any meaning to you. I am discovering I am losing followers every day or so and I cannot figure it out. Have done research and it is scary for those who use blogger. Hugs...Genie Here is the link:

  18. Gosh! It never occurred to me to photograph my local Starbucks this morning.

  19. I think I might find myself stuck at the table in the top photo. What a view! They would have to push me out.

  20. I'll take the beach, Grace! It's raining here!

  21. That beach view is my pick! Nice!

  22. Indiana is the perfect spot for people watching. You may not get much weather like this but I really like a place like that when it is cold, raining and windy, with the seas heavy, and you are cozy inside.

  23. What at amazing view in that first one Grace! Those windows are gorgeous.

  24. The stained glass windows in the top photo add real class to the cafe.

  25. Good images but for some reason a cafe with a view of the ocean seems unnatural to me. There has to be some darkness around somewhere.

  26. Oh I completely disagree with Bob. TO me a café with sea views is the best thing in the world. Your top photo is my absolute favorite. That's where I'd love to be on this Monday morning. That to me would be the ultimate luxury!

  27. That is a beautiful cafe right on the beach and those coloured windows are amazing. I could sit there for hours...

  28. Oh wow can I reserve that corner table in the first image.

  29. The problem is, they'd never get me out of those places.

  30. Nice memories of that first place, Grace :-)

  31. Fantastic cafe scenes! But I wouldn't expect any less from a country with a strong coffee culture like yours. :)

  32. Great finds! Management would have to pry me out of my seat at the Indiana. Stunning view. But…how's the coffee??? : )

  33. Both cafes have wonderful views Grace, hard to choose which would be the favourite!

  34. I like your taste in venues. A sea-view would be my favorite choice but no chance of that here in the centre of England :). Lovely shots.

  35. I would so love to be there! I just adore that first photo. So exactly my kind of place :). Next CDP theme day we'll be in Oz, but not on your side unfortunately!
