Everything old is new again..

So many businesses in Fremantle City and around the harbour are housed in beautifully restored heritage buildings, for me it's one of the main attractions of the visit to Freo. Below *Smile*, I'm smiling.. but I'm not going in :)

Matilda's Antique Centre below absolutely YES.. not so much to buy these days as I'm going through a minimalist contemporary phase :) but as a lover of all things old, rare or unique I love to browse. Heading down that way again next week, looking forward to it already. Happy Friday, take care and stay safe.. p.s. no sleep last night (Wednesday) off to bed early, catch up today...

  2. It's so important to restore our old buildings, sadly it's not always the case. Looks like a very interesting area to wander about!

  4. I can tell that I would just love to do some window shopping in this area. But, I think I should have my camera handy.

  5. I'm pretty sure that I'd no more than just window shopping Sharon. I'd have to leave the plastic card safely tucked away at my hotel! :-) The buildings are lovely and the 'almost' black and white shot is gorgeous!

  13. That's wonderful. I wish more of our old buildings were preserved like this.

BTW, I wouldn't go in there, either.

  14. I hope Perth never loses some of these grand old buildings Grace. They just cannot be replaced. Bravo - it not easy becoming a minimalist particularly if once your were a collector.
