Andrew Hem in Nick's Lane..

Love this whimsical work by Cambodian artist Andrew Hem in Nick's Lane painted during Public2015 in April this year.. above shot taken a while back when we had dinner in Chinatown. I was disappointed when we passed that way over the weekend to see that it had been defaced. So not cool, where's the respect!  Read Andrew Hem's story and see more of his fantastic work here. Hope you had/are having a fab weekend.. it's overs here in Perth, so happy Monday :) take care and stay safe.

  1. Strange, but quite well done. Sad that the usual idiots defaced it...

  2. Don't you wish that those culprits would be caught in the act and then held accountable in some way for their disrespectful actions?

  5. Those eyes look like they've already seen a lot. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  6. Some "street artists" I have encountered began as taggers, so in some cases, it is just a matter of someone doing to them what they had earlier done to someone else.
