Lot 20..coming soon!

As a 'sort of' artist :) I find it fascinating to watch the real deal at work, they make it look so easy! Aimee and I came across Perth artist Daek Williams, in the city over the weekend.. love the detail in his work, check out more here.. the mural above announcing the imminent arrival of Lot 20 Bar, a prime spot on the corner of James and William St. in Northbridge, and even though she doesn't drink Aimee is looking forward to it opening, hope they have an exciting range of 'Mocktails' on their drinks list :) Happy Tuesday, hope your week has started well, it's cooler this week here in Perth, 27C.. Je suis très happy!  Enjoy more Monday Murals here.

  2. Great mural and so bright and colorful.
About your comment on my site, I had been trying to take night shots with the Nikon camera using manual setting and selecting my shutter, aperture, and ISO. Davie showed me a setting on the camera that is fully automatic. It clicks off 6 shots and blends them together to get one perfectly exposed photo. He said it works beautifully and it does.

  4. Beautiful mural. Looks like the artist was influenced by the movie Avatar, with his large blue people.

  12. That's got a lot of energy. I, too, don't understand how this is done. A pen or pencil is quite enough for my hands, let alone a spray can.

    27. How refreshing. It was 34 and sunny every single day in Tamarindo but the air was dry despite an ocean breeze. Of course, two-thirds of the US is in the deep freezer. -27 in Chicago, where my son lives, tonight.

  19. I'm always fascinated and a bit confounded at how artists are able to put things together in a way that is beautiful and/or makes sense. Lovely photos. I think you should let the bar see this post. Might lead to a freebie or two! :)
