I was sitting cozy warm in the car when I took these shots on Sunday, zipping down the window whenever any brave soul rode or blew past along the foreshore. There weren't many. A youngster struggling against the wind to keep up with dad and a couple, hands deep in pockets striding determinedly forward. Love the silhouettes. For tomorrow's shots I did get out of the car and brave the weather but I think it was worth it. The weather was more of the same today and I think likely for the rest of the week.. I'm happy :) Have a good Tuesday, take care and stay safe..
It certainly seems a bit bleak!
ReplyDeleteLooks like our usual summers! But not this year.
ReplyDelete...come on up here and enjoy our bright blue skies! 😀
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful shots. You found the perfect place to watch the brave people out in the inclement weather.
ReplyDeleteI love how you used that bare tree to compose your shots. I love those photos especially with the skyline in the background with some fog.
ReplyDeleteGr8 Shots For Sure BUT The 'Throwing caution to the wind' Photo Is Beyond Epic - Well Done!!
ReplyDeleteCheers
This is not the sunny Perth with blue skies we have all come to know, Grace! What a change! Great pics!
ReplyDeleteSweet story telling, G!
ReplyDeleteEven on a gloomy day, Perth is beautiful, Grace!
ReplyDeleteBut you like that weather and I hate it. Great shots though. Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteI like this series of photos, the small silhouettes and the grey sky. I(would sometimes like a little rain here, because it's very hot in Europe right now. Otherwise, I think there's a misunderstanding about my post. I was talking about defending social rights and not military defense at all. Have a nice week, Gracie, and carrie on to be so inspired
ReplyDeleteLove these shots Grace! The silhouettes are wonderful against the blue grey back drop of the city!
ReplyDeleteFrom our newspaper. At least you warned me first. "It's set to be a wild afternoon in Melbourne as gale force winds, rain and possible hail and thunder are forecast to hit the city during school pick-up."
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots. Great silhouettes against the cityscape. I'm glad you didn't have to brave the elements to get these. I'm eager to see tomorrow's.
ReplyDeleteIt really looks cool with the grey sky and the naked tree, Grace.
ReplyDeleteMaybe still a tad beautiful, but, ohhh, I´m not a fan of the dark, cold half of the year. You still manage to make the best of it!
Great views. Awesome Clicks.
ReplyDeleteSuch a different look at your gloriously coloured city PDP. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Grace and brave of your to get out of the house on Sunday. I hibernated on the weekend, far too windy and dark for my liking.
ReplyDeleteThe shots are Spinning Tales.
ReplyDeleteThe finding out is so good! :)
Excelente trabalho fotográfico apesar do mau tempo, gostei bastante.
