The walk down tree lined Mount Street from Kings Park into the city is such a pretty walk.. coming back up is a wee bit of a puff :) From the Art Deco Miami apartments below at the top of the street, to the fabulous apartments I posted yesterday, there are many gorgeous apartment blocks, some classic others more modernistic..
Towards the city end of Mount Street the Riverview On Mount Street is an excellent location for visitors to walk to Kings Park and to the city.. haven't read a bad review yet, what review would you give them Andrew? Hopefully you have fond memories of your trip to Perth :) Bit of city architecture to come, so different from this leafy green tree lined street.. Happy Thursday, stay safe..
Beautiful shots! I like that painted effect.
ReplyDeleteSo true and nicely shown, dear, G! You have the heart/eye
ReplyDeleteLove the painted effect photo Grace. That area near Kings Park is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking this is a perfect location for a walk. What wonderful scenery. Everything is beautiful from the trees to the buildings.
ReplyDelete...you've got that right! 😀
ReplyDeleteThe title is perfect...so true!
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten the name of where we stayed. It was a very good studio with good facilities, and I have just remembered, quite a lot of very expensive coffee table books to flick through. Mount Street requires frequent pauses to take photos as you climb up to Kings Park.
ReplyDeleteLooks very similar to how it is here. Is this area more expensive than the suburbs?
ReplyDeleteWinter looks quite nice in Perth, Grace! What a blue sky!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful scenery Grace. It all looks so Perth pretty, the buildings and the trees. The painted effect on the first photo looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteIf that's what your winter looks like, I'll take it anytime! Lovely neighborhood. It's not as jam packed as typical city neighborhoods that I've seen.
ReplyDeleteGreat title, Grace, so true. Love all the pics, too, as the paint effect :-)
ReplyDeleteFantástica esta arquitectura, gostei bastante de ver.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de boa semana.

A lot of new buildings in Perth, love the green around the city and still proving your painting skills I see!
ReplyDeleteInteresting buildings but that top shot is amazing. Hope you are well, Diane
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of a beautiful area. Those buildings are much more appealing than the large boxes we usually see.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, and each building has a charm of it's own, and I'm especially fond of the circular balcony!
ReplyDeleteInteresting walk :) Arianna
