Up and down London Court..

Ever since it first opened in 1937 tourists have been drawn to the quaint Tudor styling of London Court..its value recognized in 1996 when it was registered on the State Register of Heritage Places. I remember often sitting in the cafes along here when we first came to Perth, sadly nowadays it's usually a quick walk through to get from Hay Street to St. Georges Terrace or vice versa. London Court has just had a $3 million restoration, when I took these shots a few days ago the scaffolding had just come down. Next time we are here I am determined to take the time to relax and people watch for a while :) Bon weekend, take care and stay safe... P.s. I always gaze longingly into this shop.. time to go in do you think :)

  3. Oh, I'm so jealous. We have nothing like this. I would spend many days here wandering through the shops, eating at the restaurants, watching the people! Great fun!

  13. What a great looking little street. It has a lot of character without looking contrived. And Trowbridge! Yes! How can you resist? Those world globes alone are enough to draw me in.

Maybe because we have that style here, too...
