Catching up on the news..

Sitting in the early morning sun reading the paper is a pretty nice way to start the day anyway, even better with the fabulous views overlooking the city from the Botanical Cafe in Kings Park. We were there on Monday morning, along with every man and his Scottie dog :) to take pics of the wildflower festival.. that other springtime event I mentioned last week. Really glad we went early, by the time we left an hour later the tourist coaches were arriving. Are you ready for more flowers yet :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...

  4. This is a really cute post. Love wildflowers, and redheads reading the morning paper, and sunshine and green grass and it's always good to see guys walking Scotties; tourist coaches not so much. Did you see that London and Paris are two cities considering limiting the number of tourists allowed in to view their sights?

  5. I'm glad you beat the coaches to the festival, Grace! It's the kind of display you don't want a lot of crowds around you.

  6. What a nice spot. Sit and read a newspaper or let your dog take you on a tour. Choices! Glad you beat all the tourists, they can get in the way sometimes. :)

  10. I can't remember the last time I read the news in a real newspaper. I have a couple of friends who still have a morning paper, and then three hours after reading that they buy the two big evening papers.

  16. Ah yes, it's what we do, but these days catching up on it isn't as grand as well lets say before this last election. Lovely photos to take my mind from the swamp (hehehe) to real life and wonders, thank you!

  17. I am jealous that you have spring while we are getting colder. My perfect country would be Zimbabwe temperature wise but I could not handle the rest of the situation there :-((( Take care Diane
