Sitting in the early morning sun reading the paper is a pretty nice way to start the day anyway, even better with the fabulous views overlooking the city from the Botanical Cafe in Kings Park. We were there on Monday morning, along with every man and his Scottie dog :) to take pics of the wildflower festival.. that other springtime event I mentioned last week. Really glad we went early, by the time we left an hour later the tourist coaches were arriving. Are you ready for more flowers yet :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...
Cute doggie!
ReplyDeleteI tend to read four papers a day.
Fantastic Post But I Love The Zoom Zoom Photos!!! What A Capture!! Well Done & Thanx For Being You.
ReplyDeleteCheers
...what a lovely spot.
ReplyDeleteOh I just love that hat in the first shot Grace! Lovely place for people watching.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really cute post. Love wildflowers, and redheads reading the morning paper, and sunshine and green grass and it's always good to see guys walking Scotties; tourist coaches not so much. Did you see that London and Paris are two cities considering limiting the number of tourists allowed in to view their sights?
ReplyDeleteso pretty! love the 2nd shot!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you beat the coaches to the festival, Grace! It's the kind of display you don't want a lot of crowds around you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice spot. Sit and read a newspaper or let your dog take you on a tour. Choices! Glad you beat all the tourists, they can get in the way sometimes. :)
ReplyDeleteLook at all those people with bare arms! And it was still early in the day.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful day in the park. How fine that all the spring flowers are blooming.
ReplyDeleteThe greens and blues are girgeous! So is the red hair!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I read the news in a real newspaper. I have a couple of friends who still have a morning paper, and then three hours after reading that they buy the two big evening papers.
ReplyDeleteOh, and i really like the last photo here.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have an infinite number of beautiful places where you live.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for flowers any time! This looks like a beautiful park.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place to visit

I absolutely love the first shot, Grace, very arty!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, it's what we do, but these days catching up on it isn't as grand as well lets say before this last election. Lovely photos to take my mind from the swamp (hehehe) to real life and wonders, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI am jealous that you have spring while we are getting colder. My perfect country would be Zimbabwe temperature wise but I could not handle the rest of the situation there :-((( Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteNice place for catching with the news... Has to be nice, as the news are not, usually.
ReplyDeleteI'm always ready for flowers. Bring them on! It looks like the weather was perfect.
ReplyDeleteNice space
ReplyDeleteYou have so many beautiful places to go there. It's like Paradise!
ReplyDeleteHas to be nice, as the news are not, usually.
