Seen on the freeway on the way into the city.. some of those balloons are not going to make it :) On the way back. I don't think I've ever
seen a customized stallion float before.
It wasn't only the tails hanging over the end of the float that
attracted my attention it was the stylized decoration. I had no idea until Googling 'Customized Stallion Floats' that they could be so expensive, second hand is the way to go.. and even then! I said I was done with flowers for a while :) Happy Friday, take care and stay safe... P.s. Winnie the Pooh quotes are the best!
Stallion float is a new one to me.
ReplyDeleteHorses are such great creatures - to ride along so calmly with their tails blowing in the wind!
ReplyDeleteWinnie's wise words...to live by.
ReplyDeleteI see horse butts!
ReplyDelete...I'm clueless there!
ReplyDeleteI think that could be called a balloonamoon.
ReplyDeleteThe second shot was so familiar to me and I thought about it for a very brief time and I realized that these were perfect replicas of the politicians we have in power in Florida (and Washington!)
ReplyDeleteCute stuff!
Nice on the road photography, Grace.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing the things you can see on the road! I agree about the balloons though, I can't imagine that they will all make it.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I love Lowell's comment.
Stallion Floats? I will have to look that up!
ReplyDeleteMaybe stallion floats are stronger.
ReplyDeleteOh my happiness abounds! What a joyful sight to drive by!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Winnie the Pooh, font of great wisdom. ( do hope you took those shots from the passenger side.)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lowell, especially as regards our national capitol. I posted a stallion posterior on inauguration day and since then have only come to believe I was being overly polite.
Balloons always cheer me up, especially since I once worked with a young man with learning difficulties who would shout "BABOON, BABOON!" every time we saw one.
ReplyDeleteThe sight of the balloons made me smile :))
ReplyDeleteAmazing
ReplyDeleteThose tails look very funny. We see those horse carriors very often here around. There are many jump races in the nearby riding school.
ReplyDeleteStallion float is new to me. I'll Google it when the shop quietens a little. Have a great day. Jo
ReplyDeleteGostei destas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

Love the yellow balloons! I wonder how many made it to their destination.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been such an interesting sight to behold. Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat eye spotting both of these!
ReplyDeleteAt first glance, I asked myself, "I wonder how many balloons will be lost before that van gets to it's destination?" Nice photos Grace!
The balloons seem to symbolise a message...Grab the sunshine while it lasts...(Certainly applicable to Melbourne weather)...Amazing information about the stallion float...
ReplyDeleteAny horse box is expensive, ours carried three as we needed it for shows and racing. Love the balloons as you say I wonder how many will actually make it! Cheers Diane
ReplyDeleteAw, Grace, the balloons sure made me smile :-)
