'Smile with us'...

Arriving in the city on Sunday morning I was surprised and delighted to see this brand new piece by Perth painter, mural and installation artist Daek William who's work I'm sure you are beginning to recognize as you have seen it here many times. Commissioned by 'Graffiti King St Takeaway.. Perth's newest foodie joint and 'urban window to artisan coffee and gourmet on-the-go eats' . Looking forward to sampling those eats & treats when GKT officially opens next week on the 4th October. Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...

  2. It is nice to see something positive. Listening to the news particularly from our southern neighbour it is easy to get really depressed and outraged. Thanks, Grace!

  3. That's very cool. I couldn't help but smile ... it's so cheery. Those of us who live in the country south of RedPat's country have little to smile about these days. And then the Nazis gained seats in Germany's Parliament. We can use murals like this one.

  16. As soon as I saw this I thought that Daek had been looking at the work of Alfonse Mucha. Lovely art nouveau quality to this image, which did cause me to smile. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
