Things are looking up!

For me they are! Last weekend I somehow managed to tear a ligament in my left knee, not even sure how it happened but for a while it looked like crutches, MRI's etc. With the magic touch of my physiotherapist and actually doing what I was told for the week, resting, icing, anti-inflammatory tabs etc it looks like it's going to be all good.. sometimes it pays to do what the doctor orders :) I was hoping to take pictures of this years Sculpture by the Sea.. the question is do I behave myself and follow orders not to walk on the sand.. they will be there next weekend, hmmm what to do! Well if there are pics here on Monday, you'll know what I did :) Bon weekend, take care and stay safe..

  13. It was nice to recognise some places, in particular the building with the red umbrellas... :-)At least I think that was it. You can't check because it was in the paper edition...

  21. Great, sunny upward view of this building. A torn ligament needs TLC. Listen to the doctor.

  28. Ah Grace! I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see some pics from the "Sculptures by the Sea" - it's so annoying to be house-bound but take care of that knee - you're going to ( kneed )it

  29. There's always time to act on the wild side; right now, stay on the right side. Obey your medical professionals.

  30. That building has far more 'art' than any bit of twisted metal you see (from a distance) on the beach.

  31. Oh, poor you Grace, you must feel miserable not to be able to go around. Be patient and hope for the best.

  35. Neat buildings. I say take it easy. Knee and ankle injuries must be taken seriously. Have a great and restful week end and post a selfie Monday.

  36. I hope to not find any pics of the event, Grace... I was on crutches for 6 weeks - not fun!

  37. I vote for resting the knee and sending Aimee in your place!

My son has a stress fracture and he's been frustrated by the time needed for recovery. It's been almost three weeks since he was able to go to work, and we think he'll be out at least two more. He worked for a week in pain, which may have made it worse.

So better to rest your knee and make a full recovery.

  38. I missed this post somehow. I'm glad you are healing properly. Take care.

  39. Yikes! A ligament tear? In your knee? That sounds quite uncomfortable. Strongly suggest you continue to follow doctor's orders. We'll get by without Sculpture by the Sea (just this once). Feel better!
