For me they are! Last weekend I somehow managed to tear a ligament in my left knee, not even sure how it happened but for a while it looked like crutches, MRI's etc. With the magic touch of my physiotherapist and actually doing what I was told for the week, resting, icing, anti-inflammatory tabs etc it looks like it's going to be all good.. sometimes it pays to do what the doctor orders :) I was hoping to take pictures of this years Sculpture by the Sea.. the question is do I behave myself and follow orders not to walk on the sand.. they will be there next weekend, hmmm what to do! Well if there are pics here on Monday, you'll know what I did :) Bon weekend, take care and stay safe..
Ouch! Well, you can dispatch Aimee as your designated photographer!
ReplyDeleteTake it easy Grace, that sounds painful! They are still there one more week.
ReplyDeleteYou are one of the most uplifting people I know, G.
ReplyDeleteSending you Aloha, Prayer and Hugs!
Save the knee - wait until next week, Grace!
ReplyDeletePlease please don't rush things. The blog can wait.
ReplyDeleteWish I could bring you some chicken soup to complete the healing.
Sorry to hear about your injury. Better to stay home and take it easy. We like your shots from the archives too! :)
ReplyDeleteDo take care of your knee, Grace!! We'll still be here to enjoy your wonderful photos as always!! I'll be holding good thoughts for you!!
ReplyDeleteJoli coups d oeil et quel ciel bleu ;o)
ReplyDeleteClassic 'looking-up' shot! Sorry to hear about your injury, Grace; sounds like rest is the wisest course of action, though.
ReplyDeletePlese DON'T undo all the good work you have done Grace! it is NOT worth it.Love this shot. Enjoy your weekend and keep your feet on solid ground!!!
ReplyDeleteClear reflection! Take care of you.
ReplyDeleteRest!!!! Wait!!!! They won't run away!
ReplyDeleteOuch that must have been so painful and glad to know you're on the mend.
Grace, I was so happy to see this in a French magazine... http://www.lefigaro.fr/voyages/2016/03/04/30003-20160304ARTFIG00181-perth-l-eveil-d-une-cite.php
It was nice to recognise some places, in particular the building with the red umbrellas... :-)At least I think that was it. You can't check because it was in the paper edition...
ReplyDeleteLove that shot.
ReplyDeleteTake care of that knee ... please!
Have a great weekend though
All the best Jan
nice point of view.. ew
ReplyDeleteBehave yourself and keep posting photos like this!!!
ReplyDeleteRest. Sand walking must be particularly bad.
ReplyDeleteI think it's time to do as the doctor orders.

ReplyDeleteNice photo! As for staying off your feet, even rebels take a break every now and then :)
ReplyDeleteI love that shot! Take care and take it easy...best advice I can offer. You seem to be doing all the right things to ensure a speedy recovery :).
ReplyDeleteGreat, sunny upward view of this building. A torn ligament needs TLC. Listen to the doctor.
ReplyDeleteTime heals all wounds. Just gotta be patient, that's all. :-)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely follow the doctors orders! We're all happy to wait a while for beach pictures...have a good weekend..
ReplyDeleteOh gosh Grace, just stay off that knee and get some rest. I hope it gets better soon!
ReplyDeleteYou take care and get well soon!!
ReplyDeleteSave the knee and send Aimee!
ReplyDeleteI love that blue sky...and I vote for listening to your doctor.
ReplyDeleteDo hope you have taken EVERYONE'S advice - those sculptures are not going anywhere!!! Take care & stay SAFE.
ReplyDeleteAh Grace! I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see some pics from the "Sculptures by the Sea" - it's so annoying to be house-bound but take care of that knee - you're going to ( kneed )it
ReplyDeleteThere's always time to act on the wild side; right now, stay on the right side. Obey your medical professionals.
ReplyDeleteThat building has far more 'art' than any bit of twisted metal you see (from a distance) on the beach.
ReplyDeleteOh, poor you Grace, you must feel miserable not to be able to go around. Be patient and hope for the best.
ReplyDeleteDon't walk in the sand it will flare up again wait, be patient.
ReplyDeleteLove those sculptures by the sea....but please way!
ReplyDeleteMake that wait......hate auto correct.
ReplyDeleteNeat buildings. I say take it easy. Knee and ankle injuries must be taken seriously. Have a great and restful week end and post a selfie Monday.
ReplyDeleteI hope to not find any pics of the event, Grace... I was on crutches for 6 weeks - not fun!
ReplyDeleteI vote for resting the knee and sending Aimee in your place!
ReplyDeleteMy son has a stress fracture and he's been frustrated by the time needed for recovery. It's been almost three weeks since he was able to go to work, and we think he'll be out at least two more. He worked for a week in pain, which may have made it worse.
So better to rest your knee and make a full recovery.
I missed this post somehow. I'm glad you are healing properly. Take care.
ReplyDeleteYikes! A ligament tear? In your knee? That sounds quite uncomfortable. Strongly suggest you continue to follow doctor's orders. We'll get by without Sculpture by the Sea (just this once). Feel better!
ReplyDeletelooking up is the right direction
