There are a lot of eating venues around Perth that have become so popular they don't take bookings, you take your chances and know that you might have to wait for a table to clear. It's a bit like that in Café de Grâce.. best seed selection in town :) Early morning yesterday it was all about the Little Corellas. Although mainly white in colour they have a distinctive red patch on the face along with the vibrant blue around the eye and a pale yellow under their wings..
It's interesting to watch when there's a big group like this, some are prepared to wait patiently, while others when they feel fellow diners are taking too long get a wee bit grumpy, that would be moi :) It's getting a little chilly in the morning and evening here in Perth, winter is on the way. Have a fab Friday, take care and stay safe..
I am always wary of places too fashionable and/or overcrowded, but this is your turf..
ReplyDeleteWow! Sounds like a great place to open a restaurant.

You have a lot of visitors to your fence, obviously they like the food!
ReplyDeleteI don't get those birds in my garden, just smaller birds.
What amazing birds!! I've never seen any like these before, but then I don't live in your part of the world!! Love your captures -- as always!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend -- you and the birds!!
ReplyDeleteGrace!!!! I want to visit your Cafe:) This is epic. Great birds and what a show you must have had. Nice birds. I can't even imagine having parrots visiting my feeder. That would be so strange to me. Thanks for sharing your backyard feeders. Chris

ReplyDeleteExotic birds are actually my lasting memory of Australia. You simply don't get anything like this outside of a cage in Europe. Gorgeous! Is that a police line up in the last two photos?
ReplyDeleteAre they better than annoying pigeons and gulls that hang here?
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove those blue eyes! I've got an idea. When you arrive at your favorite eating place and there are no table available, rush in the door, and yell, "Hey, Brad Pitt is across the street!" When everyone piles out the door, grab and table. Simple, heh? :)
ReplyDeleteSuch exotic guests, Grace. And great pics!
ReplyDeleteOur railway link from the airport isn't running yet but the construction is all finished so I think they must be fine-tuning the stations etc. I'm not sure if it is to be running by the PanAm Games time in July.
Lovely birds! Arianna
ReplyDeleteI wonder what you'd do if they actually did try to book a table Grace!!!! Super shots!
ReplyDeleteEstupendas imágenes... Muy bonitas... Un saludo desde Murcia....
ReplyDeleteThey're such beauties!
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine having such a gorgeous group of guests dining in my yard. It might be a food feast for them but, it's an eye feast for you!
ReplyDeleteThey look great so lined up. I saw a solitary cockatoo, unusual, yesterday and I was given to wonder about keeping such very social pack birds alone in a cage, no matter the cage size.
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful! I wish I had dining companions like them!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I just love these adorable little creatures! What cute little faces, and yet they have such a graceful style too!
ReplyDeleteOh Grace, I'm so jealous! They are adorable.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots.
ReplyDeletesuch lovely white feathers. We have colourful lorikeets here.
ReplyDeleteI´d stick with you then, Grace.I feel more than the spider in the back of my car ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds!
Super images, cute birds!
ReplyDeleteAs busy as all the other restaurants by the look of it, though the customers are probably more attractive.
ReplyDeleteThis makes my one bird feeder feel inadequate.
ReplyDeleteGreat images, Grace !
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I wont one :)
They look like the enjoy Cafe de Grace, Grace. :-).
ReplyDeleteI'm off all birds at the moment after a seagull shat all over me last week.
ReplyDeleteSo funny to see them so close with their coloured eyes,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue eyed birds. Not many around here:)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you and yours.
Hope you will have a nice time in Chinatown too.
You sure do have great birds over there, Grace. Enjoying your vicarious visits to Africa with me? (Sorry . . . new grandchild, lousy wifi and occasional power outages are keeping me from regular visits.)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. M is heading back for another course of chemo it has spread further afield! Have a great weekend Diane
ReplyDeleteLovely parrots. So white and so blue eyes.
ReplyDeleteWow! Aren't they great looking!!
ReplyDeleteThese feathered guys are such characters. When they gather in groups, it always seems to be a really large group.
ReplyDeleteSince I love birds, but hate seeing them caged, it would be a great thrill for me to see these birds, flying free and visiting at their whim.
