I love creative signage, a chalk board that brings a smile to the dial! The sign above advertising cup cakes and other sweet treats at the markets and even though I was tempted, I resisted. My 'booty' never left :)
This is more like it. Spotted in Leederville (remember this one Iris) outside my favourite hamburger joint. I was tempted to whip out my chalk and add Perth Daily Photo, as a definite, to that list of 'probable' celebs :) who appreciate a low carb super bun from Grill'd, seriously good! Brad Pitt, George Clooney et tout, you don't know what you're missing. Hope you have many moments that make you smile this weekend. take care and stay safe...
Oh, those look delicious, Grace, and a lot more enticing than my plain old piece of toast for breakfast!! Hope you have a beautiful weekend!! Enjoy every moment!!
ReplyDeleteI could dive in right now :) And fittingly I posted a cake recipe on my blog today :)

All the rage these days--cupcakes that is.
ReplyDeleteWell! You captured a fine picture of my white Yamaha Zuma scooter in your final pic! And I thought I was being so secretive. . . . . .

ReplyDeleteI'd be tempted to buy and enjoy. Seems a bit wrong to destroy the beautiful decorations, tho!
ReplyDeleteThis was great for Friday fun stuff, I enjoy good marketing and creative signage too! Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThose goodies look too delicious to ignore.
ReplyDeleteOh those cakes, very difficult to resist...
ReplyDeleteIt just occurred to me that you are probably known of quite widely in Perth. If it hasn't happened yet, soon you will be framing a photo and become aware of people nudging each other and loud whispers.
ReplyDeleteI always seem to make a mess eating cupcakes - give me a piece of cake instead please! ;-))
ReplyDeleteVery funny. Go ahead, cupcakes are good for you.
ReplyDeleteOk, I do not know how you were able to pass up those cupcakes Grace!
ReplyDeleteMy wife and daughter really love cup cakes.
ReplyDeleteYou are better off because of your willpower.
ReplyDeleteI'll take a coconut one!

ReplyDeleteOh, Grace, I sure do, thanks again for a lovely morning!
ReplyDeleteAnd the salad.... now that makes me nearly want to have a cake! :-) Great sign - you have lots, creative Perthies...
I try to avoid these shops at the moment, have to try to loose some weight....
ReplyDeletei like the signs!! i love signs (especially mis-spelled ones. ha)...and the cupcakes look very original...a colorful display of temptation and yumminess to most...but me, i never liked all that frosting stuff.
ReplyDeletehmmm...maybe i'll have something at Grill'd! :)

I'll have a dozen assorted please. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to have seen your name added to the sign! You're a celeb in my book!
ReplyDeleteTime to shake your booty!!
ReplyDeleteYes, outdoor chalk signs are getting creative here too. No cupcakes for me though.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really dangerous place... fascinating, but dangerous!
ReplyDeleteSuch stylish cupcakes and not too expensive either. If my husband was let loose there, he would buy them by the crate. I'd just pay the bill.
ReplyDeleteOoh, those cupcakes look good!
ReplyDeleteooh you are good Grace, resisting those cup cakes, I would have dived straight in, my radar would have picked them up a block away!! :-)
