Talento italiano!

In a small car park off William Street.. part of the FORMPublic project back in April, a mesmerizing mural by Italian artist Never 2501 (good link with short video of the maestro at work). This mural has been on my agenda since I first caught sight of it in the FORM booklet so yesterday I was determined to view and take some pics. Seriously stunning.. the undulating black & white lines give the illusion of movement which I think you can experience even from the photos oui!

Ok this one is just to mess with your eyes :) Funny story.. I was so absorbed, and slightly hypnotized while taking these shots I didn't realize I had an audience, as I turned to walk back to the car I heard a voice from behind.. 'aren't you going to take picture of us'.. two workers, I laughed and shouted back 'spread out on the wall like a work of art and you're on', I don't know who was more surprised them or moi :) Hope your week has started well, happy Monday, take care..

  26. Steffi said it all. I can't even begin to imagine how the artist rendered this complex design on a huge wall standing in a cherry picker. Thanks, Grace, for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
