Little Pied Cormorant was harboring no thoughts of flying off to warmer climes. In the last month of winter here in Australia it was a warm 24C, not a cloud in the sky, kind of Perth Tuesday.. wish you were here :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe... p.s. love those days but we need lots more rain!

ReplyDeleteI've grown to love the body language of the pied cormorants, and that first image reminded me of a penguin for some reason, gosh it's cute Grace! Mmm, weather sounds just perfect!

ReplyDeleteOh my!!! He is definitely an interesting gentleman!!! He kind of looks like a penguin with a different bird's head on top!!! For the past week or two, we've had cloudy skies and occasional thunderstorms in Mammoth...today has been the clearest of the past week!!! Hope you get lot's of rain...we're in a severe drought too so I get the need for rain!!!

ReplyDeleteAs you are going toward warmer weather, I'm dreading the approach of fall and winter. Incidenally, I posted a message to you on my deli photo which reads: There are some variations on a Reuben but basically it's a wonderful sandwich on rye bread made with lots of corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. Num!! PS. I love the tufted head feather on your cormorant today!
