It's take-out time for CDP'ers! I'm more of a dine-in than take-out kind of gal but when I'm in Leederville I'll almost always stop in at 'francois', patisserie extraordinaire, and pick up an almond croissant to bring home and enjoy at my leisure.. sometimes, like yesterday, I might even enjoy a pastry and cafe au lait in the delightfully French atmosphere of the cafe and take home another to enjoy later, oh la! that's bad oui! Now if you'll excusez-moi I have some leftover 'bits' to attend to :) Bon weekend, take care and stay safe...

That looks like it would go well with my afternoon tea. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am starving :). Love this...well done for theme day.
ReplyDeleteI think showing this kind of food on this kind of day is illegal. If not, it should be. Shame on you for tempting an old man to go off his diet! :)
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm starving, too!! I'll take at least two of those!! YUMMMM!!! Hope you're ready for a wonderful weekend, Grace! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourites too, Grace. I just tried one from a bakery on Queen St with a French owner and it passed the taste test with flying colours!
ReplyDeleteThat almond croissant looks awfully good. You photographed it so well, I could bite in it!
ReplyDeleteLooks good though ours aren't shaped like that! I've just had dinner, and now I want breakfast!
ReplyDeleteOh my, now I'm craving an almond croissant...or maybe a chocolate croissant.....or maybe.....
ReplyDeleteSee what you've done!
Looks delicious right down to the last almond.
Ah! Now that's my sort of take-out Grace. Almond croissant! is there anything nicer with une oetite cafe creme.
ReplyDeleteHaha, a beautifully sweet post Grace - enjoy every crumb :) Joyx
ReplyDeleteHow do French women maintain their trim figures? By eating half an almond croissant, not two. :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks really tasty.
ReplyDeleteI like your approach to the take-out challenge. It looks like it was VERY tasty.
ReplyDeleteI have never been terribly fond of take-out either, but your croissant looks tempting!
ReplyDeleteSure like to try that one day !
ReplyDeleteOh, that looks soooooo good!
ReplyDeleteLooks like very yummy take away food.
ReplyDeleteWell I don´t like sweets, Grace (uhh, big news ;-)...) but remembering the announcements when being on the way to Perth via Warwick by train hearing "this is Leederville" is a sweet start into August for me, thank you!
ReplyDeleteAlmond croissants, my favorite.
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy. It's nice to have a treat once in awhile ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh no I'm late. There's only crumbs left.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to eat my meal "in" as well. But I admit, those big bakery pretzels are a yummy snack!
ReplyDeleteYummie!
ReplyDeleteSo decadent! I want one. :))
ReplyDeleteAs they say here, miam !
ReplyDeleteI'm too sweet. I tend to lean to the salty... when Elenka's not looking that is. hehehehehehe
ReplyDeleteDon't tell!
It looks delicious to accompany a rich coffee. I forgot completely the issue of August. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice posting you have made here. Looks yummy and I fully understand WHY it is a popular place.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
Uh, I take one ! :)
ReplyDeleteMay be delicious.
ReplyDeleteI am hungry ...
