Ristretto or Dulsao do Brasil?

Whenever I visit the Nespresso shop in the city to stock up with tiny colourful and addictive capsules.. oh, that didn't sound good did it :) I can't resist a sneaky peek into the 'Club Room' to see if any Perth personalities are doing the same thing..  ok I don't expect to see Heath Ledger (top of the list). I did hear a rumour that David Bowie has a home here, now that would be cool.. way cooler than George :) Do you nespresso and if so how strong do you go? I'm a mild 4, Dulsao do Brasil but a friend is a Ristretto, a strong 10. When you can't get a coffee out for under $4.50, a home brewed nespresso for around 68c is good value oui! Happy Thursday, take care...

  1. Well, you could do what I do, and not develop a coffee addiction. Of course, then the cravings simply get transferred over to something like chocolate.

  2. Save the beans, drink more tea. :-)

  3. Can't beat a decent, strong, coffee - even having stopped smoking! Getting a good coffee is a bit hit and miss in the UK, but it's better than it used to be. It's fortunate you're not expecting to see Heath Ledger. Not being very expert with a camera, I dunno how you did that second shot, but it's a blinder!

  5. I had to look up Nespresso to find out what it is, Grace. :) I do like strong coffee in the morning, especially my first cup.

  6. I'm not a coffee or espresso drinker, just tea -- hot or cold!! So I get called "a wuss" when everyone else is heading for the coffee shops -- of which there are dozens here in Portland!! But we have to drink what we like, when we like! ! Love your colorful, creative, fun last shot!!

  7. Ah... when you show us David Bowie, I might even have a cuppa coffee. I don't like coffee one little bit but I just might make an effort! :-)

  8. I don't know what I would do without my Nespresso machine!

  9. I do not Nespresso, but I also agree that David Bowie would be more exciting than Mr. Clooney. He is said to have had some of his most creative moments here in Berlin. I think he's a real genius.

  10. Tea for me - I never developed a taste for coffee. I have friends bring me Yorkshire tea when they come over from England - I have a stash of hundreds of tea bags!

  11. My husband is a Nespresso customer. I guess I would have looked twice in here..... Danish design furniture. Not bad!
I have not seen Mr. Clooney or David Bowie in Stavanger. They might visit your city first:)

  14. I never touch the stuff at any strength. I never acquired a taste for coffee and I don't like coffee flavoring either. So when I hear the word "mocha" in relationship to a dessert, I pass. I don't even like coffee ice cream.

  16. I was shocked recently when charged $4.50 for coffee. It is usually between $3.50 to $3.80 here.

  20. Mine comes out of a jar for everyday. Tell me Gracie, what do you do with all the little cup things. String them up for Christmas Bells? Maybe they get 'mangled' once you use them!
    Great shots, again.

  25. My coffee tastes aren't very fancy. I just order black coffee, usually one that is neither very bold nor very mild.
