There's something a bit special about the boardwalk joining one side of the marina at
Sorrento Quay to the other, a bridge in it's own right it also accommodates the
bascule bridge (see it there ahead a bit) that lifts to let boats into and out of the marina bay, and while not even slightly on a scale with London's
Tower Bridge or Barcelona's
La Porta d'Europa, it does the job it was designed for most efficiently! I hope the skies are blue and that you're having a wonderful weekend, you deserve it..take care....

ReplyDeleteLooks like a terrific place to spend your time!
ReplyDeleteRaining here today, but I did make it out with the camera! We'll see what I caught in the rain.
ReplyDeleteI reminded the Barcelona Bridge, where I was often.
ReplyDeleteHugs and kisses.
I am sure I will like this place...
ReplyDeletegreat shot and a nice boardwalk!
ReplyDeleteWe are having the same kind of weather as that here today! Super shot, Grace.
ReplyDeleteLovely sunny photo Grace. Here it is grey, dull and cold, but looking at your photo warms me up. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this photo, wish I was there!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful spot, Grace!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely scene and I envy you living in such a beautiful, watery place! Re your comment on The Villages: I think I know who would be the sophisticated, stylish lady riding around in that cart. She's from Perth!
ReplyDeleteOh what a delight!
ReplyDeleteI so love visiting your Perth, G :-)
ReplyDeleteAloha
An interesting bridge.
ReplyDeleteTwo things Grace: the boardwalk, how lovely. You've inspired me to go and have a jolly good poke about our marina here, apparently its lovely and I've only ever driven past, not actually explored! So thank you for that shake-up I need it.
ReplyDeleteThe header photo! magnificent. I can never think of the name of the building, but I think its turned out wonderfully. And just look at all the people there!
Bascule bridge. Not heard the name. Might wander off to You Tube now.
ReplyDeleteA fun place to explore. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteI like the "infinity" suggestion of the shot Grace. And just look at that sky - swoon...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composed photo, Grace, nice place too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday.
Pretty...I would love to walk out on that bridge.
ReplyDeleteWe are having perfect weather this weekend in north Texas....thank you!
