After my
'rant' a few days ago I had a call from a friend (thanks Bill) who alerted me to a cartoon in yesterdays
The West Australian by editorial cartoonist
Dean Alston. What a coincidence, you can see why I had to share right! In fact I'm tres tempted to buy a copy and frame it haha! It's brilliant Mr. Alston, you nailed it, would be so funny if it tragically wasn't so true. OK that's it, no more vociferation's....until the next time :) Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe.....
Ha ha! :-)
ReplyDeleteAloha
Ahahaha! You need to clip and frame this! How nice to know others share your very sentiments:)
ReplyDeleteGood one, Grace!
ReplyDeleteWell damn!!! Who decided to go ahead with the dastardly project??? I'm with you Perth!!! (and I haven't even been there!!!)
ReplyDeleteLol, I bet a lot of people feel that way!
ReplyDeleteYes it seems that you're not alone Grace. I love a good political cartoon!
ReplyDeleteSounds like Alston hit the nail right on the head! I love it when I find the perfect political cartoon to express the public outrage.
ReplyDeleteI like B.D. :)
ReplyDeleteI like B.D.
ReplyDeleteI like it when a cartoon nails the problem! must be why this country has so many political cartoonists :D
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by Out Of My Mind Images...I'll be keeping up with you Grace, don't want to miss anything from over your way :)
Perfect!
ReplyDeleteRants are always good for the soul, esp. if progress is not perceived as progress.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha! cartoonists have the liberty of saying it as it is .... without repercussions! Love it.
ReplyDeleteQuite a cartoon! I've always liked the work of editorial cartoonists. I haven't heard of this one, though I know of a couple of Aussies in the business
ReplyDeleteA good rant is a very healthy thing. I look forward to more from you. (And I had one myself today actually, then having left that particular meeting I overheard someone saying,"Oh that was just Andrew being Andrew"... Ha ha. Moi?)
ReplyDeleteCartoonists and comedians. They have a way of letting the truth fly. Hang in there Grace.
ReplyDeleteI love it.
ReplyDeleteHah! He nailed it, didn't he? But I expect that this is not the last we will read about this . . .
ReplyDeleteSpot on !
ReplyDeleteOh, that's great! You should get a copy and frame it!
ReplyDelete:D Great post Gracie, I love cartoons!
ReplyDeleteLéia
That´s good!Greetings to Perth!
ReplyDeletePerhaps you should send Mr Alston a copy of your blog post Grace.
ReplyDeleteCome on! What have you got against a nice view??!! Only kidding (of course) - this resonates around the country AND around the world. How can a 'civilised' country have such a crap health system?? Still, no party is putting it front & centre for the election, so that means the focus groups haven't chosen it as a critical issue ...
ReplyDeleteYou're in London commenting on the NHS?
ReplyDeleteSame over here! A friend of my Mum´s has probably ripped a sinew - she can come to get a CT scan in a week. She is in such a pain she cannot even sleep through the night (ok, I also blame her husband for not bringing her in a city, but still...) - one week?!
ReplyDeletei totally 'get' your obsession .. i share it and i dont even live there!
ReplyDeleteCheeky Bugger!!
ReplyDeleteRegards
Colin
