More blue.....!
On the way home from Kings Park on Sunday we stopped off to see how the surf was shaping up at Trigg Beach. Not sure if the surf was 'cranking' :) (awesome), or just ok, but there sure were a lot of stand ups and body boarders out there jockeying for position..surfing over rocks (sign below) strikes me as a bit 'gnarly' (dangerous). This video clip I came across while googling 'surf talk' cracked me up, seriously dude! You're going to have to have a closer look at the collages, spotted heading out into the waves a female surfer wearing a body suit guaranteed to attract sharks, of the human kind haha! Happy Wednesday, take care...p.s. considering I took these from way up in the car park I'm pretty happy..p.p.s. did you find her :)

Who (I mean "what guy")would look at panels or rocks when there's such a view to admire?!!! :o)
ReplyDeleteI found her too! Your long lens is fabulous, Grace.
ReplyDeleteGreat series Grace.
ReplyDeleteOz provides the best competition to Hawaii surfers!
ReplyDeleteAloha :-)
Oh boy could I do with a day at the beach! Looks great, Grace. Super shots.
ReplyDeleteAm I too old to become a beach bum?!
ReplyDeleteGreat action shots!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the BLUE and the feel of summer ( for us here up in the north.)
Oh my goodness, that video clip is hilarious! Altogether now: Wapahhh! I always seem to meet at least one Aussie whenever walking along Hawaii beaches, must be something in the water:) Now, back to piccies, they are gorgeous! I love that amazing blue, why can't I just teleport into these photos and spend the day bumming around:)
ReplyDeleteOh lol, I wonder what surfer dude would make of her! Fantastic shots, I loooooove the colour of the sea!
ReplyDeleteYou weren't kidding!

ReplyDeleteSpicoli lives!
Great photos! One of my favorite scenes...
ReplyDeletePhotos magnifiques, mais les requins me font peur :))))
ReplyDeleteThat water looks oh so inviting!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great day at the beach!
ReplyDeleteGrace you are hilarious. Great shots and like Kate I wonder if its to ate for me to be a beach bum. It's a wonder any of those guys manage to stand up with all the sights.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. And no comments about the female surfer . . . I get into enough trouble on my own without getting into trouble on your blog.
ReplyDeleteYour weather must have been better than ours. Why do people want to surf near rocks? They are surely at risk of head injuries.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors, Grace! But, ohhh, how can people go into the water there? Maybe I´m always just way too chicken ;-)
ReplyDeleteReally good action shots Grace. But I like to know what's beneath me so prefer a pool. Hard to surf in a pool though!
ReplyDeleteYou are skilled at photography! These are wonderful images! ahhh the color of the water is awesome and those boys are very talented! :D

Fabulous photographs Grace. You really are getting great clarity out of your camera equipment and your steady hand. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteThalatta! Thalatta!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!!!! Such colours, such sea!
er, did you perhaps get that lassies phone number by the way.....?
You captured them very well those beachboys, but a want to have a closer look of a hunk :).
ReplyDeletePreciosa serie de fotografías!!
ReplyDeleteSaludos
Brilliant action shots Grace!
ReplyDeleteYes, great captures! This looks so familiar. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this! I love the ocean, any ocean...even though I swim like a rock!
ReplyDeleteBeach bum? How appropriate! And the dogwood I showed is cornus florida, which is the original form. There are more modern cultivars. Cornus florida has been declining because of some bad fungus problems. Cornus kousa is a more resistant cultivar. I have both in my yard.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was fall or winter down under??? I'm jealous!!! I do love the beach...in any season!!!
ReplyDeletewow!! I love thes surfing shots....in India not much surfing activity happening..mostly due to calm waves on our coastal area!!

The rocks would have scared me from surfing but, like you, I'd have had my camera out. These shots are great, Grace!
