Well I must be feeling better..I picked up my camera for the first time in three days yesterday. Apart from feeling a bit perkier, thanks heaps for all the good wishes, I realized that it's less than a week until the CDP theme day the subject being 'the beauty of decay', a subject that takes a bit of reflection oui!. I pass the Yellagonga Regional Park, only ten minutes away from me regularly and often think about stopping to take some shots and as I didn't want to travel far this was the perfect opportunity. Although the decayed tree above would have been, and even now is, beautiful in the sunset light, there's something else just out of view that may be right for the theme.

Thanks to my computer problems, I can now say I'm happy that you feel better :-)
ReplyDeleteFor a sec I thought you meant the couple were decaying, loooool! I'm hopping outta here (gorgeous light!)
I'm pleased to see you back Grace - I was getting worried!
ReplyDeleteThe tree is wonderful and the light on the romantic couple is perfect.
Hmmm the theme of beauty of decay - perhaps you should visit a cosmetic dental surgery?
Quite a dramatic first shot, Grace!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. I've been chasing my tail with a magazine job for the past few weeks and not visited. I am sorry to hear you were not feeling well but glad to hear you are up and out shooting again.
ReplyDeleteTake care!

It looks like fall has come to you! Glad you are out and about again, Grace.
ReplyDeleteA fallen tree is as beautiful as standing. Nice shots. The second image is romantic and full evening sun. Too bad the weekend is over. Nice photos. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs taken in the Regional Park Yellagonga. These changes of light, that tree, romantic pictures that walk with seven dogs.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're better health.
Hugs and Kisses
That top shot with the setting sun as a background would be perfect for "Beauty of Decay" Grace .... Isn't it good to be out on a mission with camera in hand.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you feel better, G :-)
ReplyDeleteI love piggybacking on professional shoots too. Glad we shall see more of the Park too!
Aloha, Pal
I like all three of these photos, Grace.
ReplyDeleteI have been away for a few days and didn't know that you have been feeling ill again. Take care of yourself, Grace.
That first shot is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI see the dog walkers are approaching the photographer and his smoochy clients. No one wants any extra "artifact" in the pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Grace, glad you´re better encore :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the light and can see why everyone had their camera out! You caught some magic here. I glad you're feeling better. Take it easy as you get back into the swing of things:)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are feeling better. I see from your photos that you had quite the photo excursion. Lots of different things to see. Monday is a holiday in the US so no work for us and since I now only work 4 days a week, I'll be having a four day weekend. I'm loving it.
ReplyDeleteGlad your feeling better Grace. Nothing like a park with a lot of activity to liven up the senses.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your are recovering and feeling better and even went out. Take care.
ReplyDeleteBeaut sky.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sky shot and the tree and white T only add.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection, Grace. Love photos that include people taking same shot. Super that you are feeling better!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood moments of life. The first image is super! Arianna
ReplyDeleteLocation-location and an interesting area.
ReplyDeleteNice images!
You have been missed.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely shots!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better. Oh how I love taking photos of photographers at work!
ReplyDeleteAn awesome sky shot and glad you are on the mend!
ReplyDeleteI get like this as well Grace. Sometimes you just need a break. Very beautiful first shot.
