Looking to the left, city side and the bigger and very much busier Barrack St. Jetty. It was along Riverside Drive (lined with trees below) that I'd hoped to catch the walkers/runners in the Mothers Day Classic, I was going to say ah! well next year, but next year I hope to be IN it, unless any other parts of my body fall apart :) If you look down in the right hand corner you can see the colourful Cirque du Soleil tents in Langley Park. OMG if you follow all the links today you are going to know Perth so well before you even get here haha! Hope your week has started well, take care.....

ReplyDeleteNo matter where you look, you get a gorgeous view! I so agree with Sylvia K, you oughta be paid commission from the Perth travel council!:)) I absolutely love all that water, how I miss being near it.
ReplyDeletePerth looks like a wonderfully created metro with some nice urban planning. Plus I'd love to be there taking those pics with you. The weather looks perfect. It's now summer here and VERY hot!

Cirque du Soleil was over here just recently, too - I didn´t go, though... Great pics, Grace, I so loved Kings Park! And have the coolest magnet ever from there: "Australian men - shear genius!" showing two sexy men .. well shearing sheep :-)
ReplyDeleteIs the sky really that blue (1st photo). You're in the middle of Fall now are you not? It is gorgeous. Reminds me of San Diego with the vibrant light & colors.

Great photos Grace. I always take my overseas visitors on a ferry crossing from South Perth into the city. It's a wonderful way to see both sides from the river.
ReplyDeletePerth is an attractive city as seen from the south side. The first photo is really, REALLY nice with the curve of the land adjacent to the water,
