I've said it before and I'll say it again, the nicest thing (?) about having a migraine is how good it feels when it's gone. Out and about for the first time in a few days Aimee and I had an early evening walk along Whitfords Beach, popular with both fishermen and kite boarders, so there was a fair bit of dodging lines! Interestingly I read that because the kite boarders go quite far out to sea (below), some of them, like surfers and divers now wear Shark Shields, sounds sensible! A typical warm summers night on the beach in Perth. Hope your week is off to a good start, take care and stay safe.....

Lovely....
ReplyDeleteSpecialy the first picture...
Best regards from France,
Pierre
Beautiful, so miss the beach!
ReplyDeleteI had migraine for years. Then I took a chance and got - despite not believing in it - acupuncture. I took 8 sessions and it worked. The doc said, after a few years it might come back, which it did. Another 4 sessions later and since then - 1998, I guess - I´m practically migraine-free :-)
Beautiful. I love beach
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach and it does look like a fun day!!! Love your your captures for the day! Hope you're feeling much better!! Take care!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. It is so cold in here. Thanks Grace.
ReplyDeleteWould a trip upon one of these take a migraine away? You might have bigger worries. Ha!
ReplyDeleteLove that first shot, Grace!
ReplyDeleteShark shields... Does it work on politicians?
ReplyDeleteI think I'd enjoy it in the evening when it's cooler... Glad you feel better!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos. So clear!!! Take care and stay well!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Grace!
ReplyDeleteNow that I've seen this pictures, I remembered that in a town near the mine had many Australians due to air its beaches for windsurfing. The village is called Tapia de Casariego.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of beach and kites
a hug
Beautiful photos, Grace! Sorry you have been unwell :-(
ReplyDeleteYou would never catch me doing what those young men are doing. You would catch me doing what those people in the last photo are doing, walking along the shore. But, sailing out into the ocean on a thin board....never.
DeleteBummer about the migraine. Good that you are out and about again.
ReplyDeleteSunlight through a wind-sail ..... Beautiful!
ReplyDeletePleased to hear you are over that nasty migraine Grace
Take care
They look like big, beautiful crescent moons.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to go through a migraine. These afternoon shots are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why my comment above shows up as a reply. Odd.
ReplyDeleteIf I were in a place where a shark shield was recommended I would very soon be in another place.
ReplyDeleteYour first photo has superb light, Grace. Glad you are feeling better. But, I am not going to volunteer for migraines just to experience how it feels when they depart.
ReplyDeleteYeah, tell me about it Grace! I also suffer from migraines, very debilitating at times. I agree about the best part though...when you can finally feel the pain declining...I'm tempted to get excited and try and do things...I have to tell myself to calm down and wait til it's all gone!

The light in the first and last photos is lovely. So sorry about the migraines. Is there no effective medication for them?
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the migraine has gone and good to see you are out in the fresh air, camera in hand.
ReplyDeleteI miss so much this wonderful energy from the sea, I'm enchanted by your first picture, it's adorable with wonderful light!
ReplyDeleteYou...lucky friend!Enjoy this special place there!
hugs

oh girl...I'm so homesick these days! I miss BRAZIL so much! :)
ReplyDeleteHow I would LOVE to be there! The sand and sun are so tempting.
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm....looks warm.
ReplyDeleteWe get quite a few kite boarders here, which surprises me because I don't think we usually have that much wind. Excellent news that you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteLove that first shot.
ReplyDeleteThe light behind the sail in the top photo is spectacular. Would love to walk along the beach as my personal Walkabout! I want so badly to visit both Australia and New Zealand but it gets harder and harder to embark on those brutally long airline trips from here to there.
ReplyDeleteLovely beach scenes! I can almost feel the warm breeze.
ReplyDeleteThese are the perfect sight for emerging from a migraine - so sorry to hear and glad you're feeling better! I suffer from migraines too, though luckily rarely. When they hit they are devastating though. Take good care!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images! I hope you're getting better...
