I didn't make it to
Skyworks last night (I had my own fireworks..in my head!), this almost graphic shot is my favourite from last years display. Do you ever download an image and think 'what the!' Straight from the camera this one was most unexpected because apart from little flashes of colour it's almost a B&W, the frame of the
Bell Tower to the left which was lit up like a Christmas tree all evening stark against the black background. In an overly colourful evening this one was a sweet surprise! Happy Sunday, take care.....p.s. So happy that I got the star on top.....!
Grace, I am so sorry that you had a visit from the migraine monster again.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about that migraine! Stay cool.
ReplyDeleteStunning. I will use it as wallpaper for a bit. I think it got a little lost among your other great firework photos from last year.
ReplyDeleteYour own fireworks? In your head? Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear, as someone said. I know. I was at Woodstock.
ReplyDeleteFireworks make me smile!

ReplyDeleteIt sure is a shot t be proud of. I saw some of your fireworks last night while I was watching the football (soccer). Brisbane played Perth. Both teams played awfully . Somehow we managed to win. The fireworks could be seen over the stadium.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Grace, and yes, interesting to see how the radio mast(?) came out like B&W. Have a good week....
