Double exposure.....!
Come on, you know we all like to do it, catch a fellow photographer at work that is! When Aimee and I were walking down the coast road a few nights ago just after sunset, this lady was on the beach shooting up the coast towards the lighthouse at the marina, her dog sitting by her side waiting patiently to resume their walk (can you see them down there!). Considering that it's the middle of winter the temperatures have been really mild this week here in Perth, around the 21C mark, cold in the early morning and evening with beautifully sunny days, but as I type that is all about to change, back to rain and stormy weather for the next week, excellent..looking forward to a 'snugly' kind of weekend, whatever you have planned for your weekend, enjoy and take care.....

ReplyDeleteWish you also a very nice weekend
Greetings, Joop
Wonderful captures indeed! Love the sky in the last shot! We're having our third day of sunshine and blue, cloudless skies!!! It is wonderful because the temps are still mild -- in comparison with most of the country! Wishing you a great weekend, Gracie! Enjoy and stay warm and dry!!

Moi aussi, j'aime beaucoup photographier les photographes. Et toi-même est excellente.
ReplyDeleteBravo Gracie!
Love this post,Grace. The faithful companion does it for me!
ReplyDeleteDogs are very patient...
ReplyDeleteNice post, Grace, have a nice weekend.
I'm dreaming of this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views. I'm guilty of taking pictures of people taking pictures. It's fun:) Have a great weekend. I'm going up to the mountain for a couple days!! Have a good one:)
ReplyDeleteWalking along the beach with your dog, taking pictures: Perfect! Love this one.
ReplyDeleteA favorite pastime! I'd like so much to be on such a beautiful beach, taking pictures..
ReplyDeleteRight, there's really something about photographing the photographer... :)
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

I love how the dog is so patient, waiting for his mistress to take her pictures. I wish my dog were so patient when I want to stop and take some pictures. :)

ReplyDeleteTwo super shots! I love them both, but esp. the 2nd one...what a great panorama and fantastic colors!
ReplyDeletelove that dog!!
ReplyDeleteYup, one of my favourite themes, and it's always nice to get a shot of what they're shooting also! Nice pairing!
ReplyDeleteAnd 21°C may be "mild" for you, but here that's a good summer temp! Might hit 25 this week, and that we consider "hot"! :)
Quite often I can't work out what they're photographing or why...and goodness knows what they make of some of my more abstract offerings! Great shots.
ReplyDeleteI love how the dog looks so patient and calm.
ReplyDeleteShots well done. Dear Grace, I wish you a nice w.e.
ReplyDeleteHere 34°.
A big hug from Italy.
Beautifully framed, I love the way the water looks and who could resist a cute dog? :) We've got rain in our upcoming forecast too, sigh. Hope you have a deservedly snugly weekend! (I'm thinking it might be good cookie baking weather :)
ReplyDeleteI always find that I start to look at what they are shoot to see if I missed something. Love both of these shots.
ReplyDeleteThese are very nice shots, Grace! In spite of the temperatures, it looks like a lovely place to be! I could use some of your cool weather right about now - temps are still hovering near the 100 degree mark.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting seeing what others stop to photograph. Both shots tell a great story. Your weather is similar to ours on the east coast at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI do that, too. What makes other photographers so magnetic to us?
ReplyDeleteLove this photo Grace. It really looks beautiful there.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great picture of Aimee!
ReplyDeleteHave a fine Weekend

Yup, I could watch her too.....
ReplyDelete21 c, you call that winter? Pah!
Love the dog waiting patiently ... Looks like a beautiful twilight time.
ReplyDeleteIt's been warm here. Our summers are short so we must enjoy every day. I need a shandy!
ReplyDeleteThe light is so pretty in these pictures! It's definitely not cool here. I will be looking for ways to beat the heat this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love to get other photographers too! And you certainly can't blame her for wanting to catch that sky. Just beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful landscape to be shooting, and bliss to have a travelling companion not making a fuss of the time she probably took to compose the shot.
ReplyDeleteI like to take pictures of other photographers!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous captures!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part of the day. Simply beautiful!
