Swans , swings and other things..

Lake Monger is a super popular spot for walkers, family picnics etc. A while back when walking around the lake I spotted the cute colourful mural surrounding one of the public conveniences. The naive characters relating to the many recreational activities around the lake.. very different from the activities here in the 1860's when it was an important camping and hunting ground for the Noongar peoples. On the WA Day holiday yesterday we went hiking in the John Forrest National Park.. tell you about it tomorrow, Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

  6. You have the most amazing murals around you, so lucky. Re watching YouTube we get the occasional short one we can see but that is all, most will not play at our slow speed. Those Chateau films are probably ones that we have seen over the years on BBC. Stay well and safe, bonne journée, Diane

  11. Initially I thought it was art by children but it is way too good and well done to be a work of children.

  18. Now that is one very special mural, Grace, I love it! I´ve never seen a style like that!
I think the first one will have to find a place in our kitchen, or better here at my PC, would that be OK?
