Lake Monger is a super popular spot for walkers, family picnics etc. A while back when walking around the lake I spotted the cute colourful mural surrounding one of the public conveniences. The naive characters relating to the many recreational activities around the lake.. very different from the activities here in the 1860's when it was an important camping and hunting ground for the Noongar peoples. On the WA Day holiday yesterday we went hiking in the John Forrest National Park.. tell you about it tomorrow, Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..
...fabulous, but I wasn't able to find the meaning of galup!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun mural. It is colorful and light hearted.
ReplyDeleteJ'adore ce mélange de photo et de dessin naïf. C'est un graphisme audacieux
ReplyDeleteSomeone has been closely observing children's drawings. Absolutely charming.
ReplyDeleteLove the drawings!
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done, I like it.
ReplyDeleteYou have the most amazing murals around you, so lucky. Re watching YouTube we get the occasional short one we can see but that is all, most will not play at our slow speed. Those Chateau films are probably ones that we have seen over the years on BBC. Stay well and safe, bonne journée, Diane
ReplyDeleteMakes a plain building wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love the style of the drawings!
ReplyDeleteWonderful outing I appreciate it
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing the art around you. Wish that was where I lived :)
ReplyDeleteInitially I thought it was art by children but it is way too good and well done to be a work of children.
ReplyDeleteThere is something about the childlike drawing that just screams fun, fun and more fun. How perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy mural!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!!! This made me super happy dear Grace! Those kids on the mural looks so happy and inviting. Hope we can all be as happy as they are even in these times.
