Was a little disappointed yesterday, we were promised forecast a wet and windy day but as you can see it was not to be, perhaps today.. it is winter after all. I love taking shots of our beautifully exotic black swans, here on the Swan River in Matilda Bay. I enjoyed the sequence of shots with the swan peering into the water, plunging his head in and triumphantly emerging with a tidbit of the greenish kind :) Hope you have a super weekend, take extra care and stay safe..
...looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteA handsome chap.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are perfect Grace!
ReplyDeleteSwans are such elegant creatures in the water! The black ones are indeed exotic to my eyes, Grace!
ReplyDeleteWhat could be more perfect than Swan photos on the Swan River, and you found reflections, well done Grace.
ReplyDeleteI love those black swans, I only see them when you post photos. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. Grace.
I've never seen a black swan in the USA although I think there may be a few in Florida that someone released.
ReplyDeleteWoooooow a very beautiful black Swan! I remember a post from blog friend Anita from Norway, she showed a photo of a Wild Black Swan which is not native to them in Norway and everyone was wondering how it get there, knowing most black swans are from down under! Happy Weekend dearest Grace!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. And just what's needed! funny I came back here to look at the swan and second time and hadn't left a message! Lol
ReplyDeleteWhile they are found in many parts of Australia, they are so associated with Perth and West Australia.
ReplyDeleteThey have those perfect long necks to be able to dip deep into the water.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Grace, the colors are just perfect!
ReplyDeleteYes, I´m with you. We wait for rain since forever. For today the forcast was rain and thunder, but I only see a blue sky...
Real beautiful birds.
ReplyDeleteSuch elegant creatures!
ReplyDeleteThe black swans are so beautiful, we only have white ones here. I wonder how the black colour evolved, what is the advantage over white? Hmmmm... interesting.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful and as you said "exotic" birds. I love seeing them.
ReplyDeleteI adore black swans. Such lovely shots of them.
ReplyDeleteFunny shots of this wonderful swan.
