Look at that face.. of all the doggy antics I saw on the beach on Saturday the Hairy Maclary lookalike above was the most amusing, such an expressive face and long lollopy legs, can just see him thinking 'a horse in the water behind me.. yeh right, sure there is' :) We're in for a scorcher of a week, dangerously hot temps.. I worry about my garden but much more about the creatures out there fending for themselves, time for bird baths and dog bowls to be kept brimming over with fresh water. Hope you had a good weekend and ready to begin another, happy Monday, take care and stay safe.. p.s. I quite like the doggy leg reflections :)
Hairy is so cool just sitting there looking like "Hey y'all come play with me! I want your attention!"
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Grace. Way too cold, dreary, and damp here today. One of those cold days the air is so cold and damp it goes right through a coat. This is Florida -- Supposed to be warm!
These are all cute! What a wonderful group of canines. But, I agree, Hairy Macclary is the cutest of all!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable set of photos. Harry Maclary is such a cutie. What a fun day at the beach! Stay cool this week!
ReplyDeletewet mutts

ReplyDeleteA primeira foto é incrível! Surpreendente ver um cavalo ao fundo tomando banho de mar!...
Bom fim de semana!

I love your friends, G. Stay cool this week
ReplyDeleteMade me laugh Grace! Wonderful 'portraits'!
ReplyDeleteWhat an eye in that first shot. :-)
ReplyDeleteAll these dogs are great looking characters, especially the first hairy one. What a pose in the first photo. Our summer weather, unlike yours, is a bit spasmodic. Back to coolish today.
ReplyDeleteOh,I feel real bad for those dogs--too hot but at least they are at the beach. It's hailing sleet right now as I read this, so different from you. Good luck next week!!
ReplyDeleteSuch absolute cuties!
ReplyDeleteLooks like they are enjoying cooling off!
ReplyDeleteThey are all sweethearts, Grace! I'm a sucker for any dog!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very animal friendly beach! :)

So many animals on the beach. Most American beaches are not animal friendly.
ReplyDeleteI didn't ask them, but I am sure the the name Brown Bag Group is derived from the idea that they brought their own lunches to meetings in plain brown paper bags. "Brown bagging" is a common term over here.
Oh cute pictures, I particularly like that first one, he looks like a character....
ReplyDeleteNever seen a horse in the sea before. Funny.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Those are some handsome canines!
ReplyDeleteI love watching dogs at beaches. They are so full of the joy of life.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pics!!! Stay in today, Grace & try & keep cool.
ReplyDeleteSweet doggies!! You keep cool!!
ReplyDeleteThat eye - so penetrating. From what you say any creature in Perth, whether two or four legged, would be grateful to be near the ocean.
ReplyDeleteI think Hairy Maclary may get himself into some mischief from time to time.
ReplyDeleteMany dogs just love playing in the water. That Harry Maclary look-a-like seems like quite the character. Also like the looks of the hound resting on the sand. These dogs may need a good brushing when they get off the beach.
ReplyDeleteHairy Maclary would be huddled near the fireside over here this morning.
ReplyDeleteAll So cute, having lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteWow! You weren't joking. Amazing to see a horse romping around in the sea :). Lovely images.
ReplyDeleteThe beach is for everyone I see. Such a cute dog you have focused on!
ReplyDeletei just love all these dogs!
ReplyDeleteCracking shots!
ReplyDeleteThe first one is a winner!
That would be no beach to relax for me, Grace ;-) Panic-mode!
ReplyDeleteAmazing- I liked reading my kids the Hairy MacLairy stories (New Zealand aren't they?) and do we now have Horsey McNorsey?
ReplyDeleteLove these photos. We used to love taking our dogs to the beach until one of them picked up a dried out blowfish on the Southern coast in South Africa. He was dead within 12 hours, it was the worst holiday I have ever had! Have a good week Diane
ReplyDeleteThey're all adorable! Makes me miss having a dog....
ReplyDeleteI do pity animal when the temperature gets really hot! It's great these could cool off in the ocean!
ReplyDeleteThey are all cute, but that first one, is VERY cute!
ReplyDeleteNice photos Grace.
I love them!
