An oasis in the city...

Workers are spoilt for choice when it comes to lunchtime eating venues in the city but if perchance they want to escape the confines of office walls and eat alfresco.. no problem, there are many green areas around the CBD. The workers in the Woodside Plaza building, background bottom shot, step out into this tranquil garden, Hay St. side where you saw this beauty last week. These shots were taken a little before lunch, half an hour later and the scene would have been very different. What have you got planned for this weekend? Keeping cool is the priority here :) Enjoy, take care and stay safe...

  2. The water feature draws my eye. Those curved shelters in the last pic remind me of ones that are out in one spot here during our summers.

  3. Keeping cool here is also a priority now... but only in the social sense.

  4. Staying warm is the plan for here this weekend. The temps which are +5˚C today are supposed to drop a lot over the weekend. ;-(

  7. A beautifully designed outdoor area. Those shades are well placed. What a grand retreat for workers.

  8. It looks like an excellent place to sit in peace with fellow workers while complaining about your boss.

  13. It does look like a good place for lunch (or just sitting and chatting and admiring the views). I would be on the bench with wooden slats.

  14. A pretty spot to sit on that bench looking at the falling water. I stay cold I assure you, saw the first snowflake falling this morning!

  15. That is a pretty wonderful space to enjoy during lunch time. I'd take advantage of it and I'd take a camera with me (of course). I saw another movie last night, "The Danish Girl", another brilliant film. I might see another one today. I'm on a roll all of a sudden.

  17. Is that new or did we miss it, Grace? Beautiful!
Already 5 cm of snow, keeps snowing :-( Send over some of the warm temps, will ya? But my café has become real popular! Chickadees mostly!

  18. Eating outdoors is a favorite pastime during the warm months. Lovely places in Perth. I am persistent but it has been very difficult posting here. I am sure it is in México but it is darned frustrating.
