A little light levitation!

Well! You don't see that every day! Yesterday was the perfect, 24C, day to head away from the city and do a bit of exploring...

18km north east of the city, below.. a 25 minute drive. I haven't had time to edit the shots I took so I'll leave you wondering how this tres colourful old jalopy is hanging in mid air, I promise there are no wires attached! Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe... p.s. no giving the secret away any Perthites (or Yanchepites) who may be reading this :) p.p.s. it's not a balloon!

  2. Quite interesting Grace. Don't know the secret as I've never seen it.

  3. I do see something that would appear to be a base, and I'm assuming it's a hot air balloon.

Or it's one of the Weasley's flying cars from the Harry Potter series.

  4. Hi Grace, did YOU give a kick to this car ?

  5. What a funky place to visit for sure. It's just too neat seeing and believing it's floating in mid air!

  6. Whatever's holding it up in the first two shots has clearly failed by the last picture!

  7. 24C??? That's what our weather is supposed to be like this time of year but, we haven't seen it yet. It's been so much colder than usual. As for the floating car, I can't wait to see what magic has given rise to this eye-catching event. I hope you will be having an equally lovely Thursday.

  9. C'est peut-être un ballon dirigeable camouflé en voiture :)

  14. I give up Grace! 24 degrees, I'm so envious, I hate winter.

  15. Flat areas on the bottom of all the tires make it look like a composite or very good double exposure.

  16. I took it to be a woman driver....

  17. I hope you will give up the answer....!

  18. Some funny comments :) I was going to say balloon but I don't have a clue now.

  19. This Yanchapite hasn't got a clue (my next door neighbours want to take me to Whiteman Park, perhaps I should go!)

  20. As an American, what strikes me about these pictures is how empty it is 18 km out of town. We're not a very big city but if you went 18 km from out center you would barely be at the airport, with many suburbs beyond.

  21. Gosh that's an eye stopper Grace. Intriguing.

  22. That is a unique posting! I have no idea how it is possible to have the car up in the air like this.

  24. No idea, Grace! Crazy! What is it, can´t wait!

  25. But how it can be? I'm sure it has logical explanation and I hope you'll share one with us ;)

  26. Clever angling in that first shot!

  27. A colourful, suspended feature. If it's not a balloon, by some kind of subtle magic this must be a hologram.

  28. Hih ... nice idea ! Lovely car in area.
Think, in this same day we had -20 °C... Quite a difference in temperature. But today morning any more -3,5 °C.
