Two of my favourite people reflected in the window of Zenos Cafe at Sorrento Quay Boardwalk. What was your Christmas day like, did you have a white Christmas? It was a perfect 27C here in Perth.. unfortunately followed by a relentless succession of temps in the high 30C's, ah well that's summer for you, roll on March! Hope you're having a fab weekend.. me, I'm catching up slowly :) Take care and stay safe..
We have had a few cold days with -10C and a blue sky and also 0C days that have been very gray. Most of the little snow we got last week is gone now.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures to start the new week in the new year!!! We had pouring rain every day for nearly three weeks!! I though we would float always!! But the sun and blue skies returned along with strong wind and freezing temps??? Ah, well, we'll hit a happy medium in the weather and soon I hope!! In fact, today is looking pretty good so far!! Wishing you and your family a wonderful, beautiful and very Happy New Year, Grace!! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful for us too, and believe it or not we did finally get some snow, (really unusual for the snow capital of the U.S.) to be behind in snow falls! It's been all about family for me/us and that's just the way we love it!
ReplyDeleteBalmy and sunny 29.5C (85.25F) here Christmas day Grace. I miss snow!
ReplyDeleteMrs. & I had a great day and she even bought me one of what she always cringes about when she sees me bringing in a suitcase looking item--a new typewriter! A really nice Gossen Tippa. Types like it is almost an Underwood.
Hope you have a great 2016!
Lovely photo of those two of your favourite people. We had a brown/little-bit-green Christmas here. But it turned white a few days later. As you likely know, I don't mind winter (most of the time) so I'm looking forward to a great January and February of photographing ICE. lol But I'll be happy when spring comes too. ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections! We had our snow turn up a couple of days after Christmas.
ReplyDeleteBah! Roll on March indeed...
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Gracie. I am home and back to normal. Christmas Day was wet, warm, and double fun first with my son and then with my daughter. Lots of driving, but it was worth it. Love your photos and the first one pulls at the old heart strings. Take care. g
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections! Happy New Year, all the best for 2016!
ReplyDeleteIt was a green Christmas here and it is still pretty green with a few patches of snow around. +1˚C here today but going down to -15˚C tomorrow!!
ReplyDeleteNice reflections! We had a foggy Christmas...happy new year, Arianna
ReplyDeleteon reflection, you are a joy as usual!
ReplyDeleteNope, no white Christmas here. Mid thirties, just the perfect weather for a hot meal.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Grace, that's an amazing sky....no white Christmas here :(
ReplyDeleteCould have been summer here last month.
ReplyDeleteStill warmish here and waiting for some of the white stuff. Nice to see two of your favorite people.
ReplyDeleteFavourite people & favourite place! Keep cool & carry on.
ReplyDeleteFabulous reflections.
ReplyDeleteTerrific reflections. I really like that first one. It has it all.
ReplyDeleteLovely reflections Grace! It's been far too hot for my European visitors, who don't dare leave the house!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great reflection with a very sweet image in it!
ReplyDeleteReflections of favourite people are the very best kind. 27C is the perfect temperature for me too!

Wonderful and warm reflections. I'm glad you had a perfect day for Christmas. That is exactly as it should be.
ReplyDeleteCOOL stuff!!!
ReplyDeleteNice reflections, Grace! The snow only came today and most is gone already. But I brought Christmas-preissies home today, so... White Christmas after all?
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely place and your photos are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR, GRACE. Wonderful images.
ReplyDeleteWe have had plenty of rain wind.... as bad as STORM, around +1C tonight, but the strong wind makes it feel colder.
Wonderful reflections! J'adore!
ReplyDeleteNice reflections, Grace. The Christmas season was unusually warm in Connecticut. I am back in Florida now.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDeleteDelightful reflections in the first photo. And adore the subtle sky colours in both photos.
