Waiting...

Mon dieu it was hot and humid yesterday! What better way to end a 40C summer day than to watch the sun go down from atop the lighthouse at Hillarys Boat Harbour, only five minutes from home it's something that we're lucky enough to do on a whim! We weren't alone.. I think I've said it before, there is something tres reassuring about watching the sun come up in the morning and set in the evening, these days it's one of the only things we can be sure of...

To the left the clouds blushed pink...

... to the right the sky was aflame! A bit like the weather :) Bon weekend, take care and stay safe... p.s. 31C predicted for today.. almost cool :)

  2. Gracie....You are so lucky to have a lighthouse so nearby that allows you to go up to see sunrises and sunsets. The ones along the shorelines where I have been are locked. Most are unused. This is one gorgeous spot with that lovely railing. I would be out there every time I could...morning and night. Your captures show just what awesome panoramic views you see and can photograph. Such a wonderful post today. Enjoy your weekend.

  16. That looks like a perfect place to get some great sunset photos. When I lived on the other side of town I was near a golf course and park that were perfect for getting shots but, where I am now, I still need to find the perfect place.
