Sorry to take you back to the beach again so soon but when it's hot what can you do! While we were walking along the
Whitfords dog beach a few evenings ago these two sweet little Maltese terriers caught my lens. Their collars one blue and the other red, brother and sister perhaps, full of 'joie de vivre' they dodged in and out of the water chasing tennis balls, the female teasing and taunting, shamelessly hogging both balls, but when he managed to snatch it from under her nose he tore away up the beach ....!
My favourite shot is this one below where when they've decided that enough is enough, each with a ball in their mouth, side by side they scamper back to mum and dad patiently waiting ahead, best buddies, too cute! I hope you've had a good weekend and are ready for whatever the week ahead throws at you (?), take care and stay safe.....
A doig's life looks just grand to me
ReplyDeleteLooooool: I wouldn't mind being a dog!!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteYep, dog's life looks good to me!! My son's dog and mine would have so much fun playing on the beach! His dog loves to swim and chase sticks in the water while my dog just likes to run up and down on the sand -- he's a big chicken when it comes to swimming!! Fun post for the day, love your captures!!
ReplyDeleteCute puppies!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and tender images.
ReplyDeleteDogs are delicious beings.
They just want our joy.
Hugs.
What a great series. You had me laughing out loud. And that last shot is perfection!
ReplyDeleteWonderful summery shots. Dogs just love the water, don't they?
ReplyDeletePerhaps they are like countries at war. Eventually a resolution is reached after the countries become exhausted by the fighting.
ReplyDeleteI like dogs on the beach, and plan to post a puppy on the beach photo in a couple of days. You have captured the spirit of these dogs quite well.
ReplyDeleteAwww - so cute, Grace!
ReplyDeleteThat's right... rub it in how warm you're having it while we shiver over here :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely shots!
Looks like a pretty good life to me. Maybe on my next life...
ReplyDeleteLucky you, here almost everywhere is a dog beach, in the worst sense of the term...
ReplyDeleteAnd the owners don't even have to throw the balls? These would be very easy dogs to live with.
ReplyDeleteA delightful series of shots. Thanks for sharing the dogs' joy and sense of fun with us. Wishing you a fabulous week.
