Bad moon rising.....

Aimee and I see this house when we walk along the coast road. I've always wondered what it might be like inside and a few years ago I got the opportunity when it was featured in one of Perth's 'homes' magazines. I wasn't disappointed, it's as striking inside as it is out! I have a feeling that the moon in the top shot might have been the Perigree Moon that we had back in July, it looks super big, this was taken early evening as the moon was just beginning to rise, giving the house a kind of 'witchy' look don't you think, and the one below a few days ago just to show why we call it 'the house on the hill'. I hope your week is off to a good start, take care.....

  2. It looks like that house has loads of character, and your [first] shot of it with the moon enhances the character. Someone must shoot a movie with that house as a character in it.

  6. What an awesome house and, yes, you and I are thinking alike today with our moon shots and yours is gorgeous!! It almost looks as though it is attached to the house on the weather vane! Who knows??? maybe the very wealthy do own the moon!!! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!!!

  13. Soft pink skies .. Silvery moon. I thought you'd headed off to somewhere far and distant like India or Morocco.
It's an amazing house and I can imagine the interior would be equally so..

  17. That is a huge moon. It does look witchy and that witches hat on the end of building helps to set the mood.

  18. That moon is the giant economy size. Even the moon now has an obesity problem.

  19. If you mean magical by "witchy", than I agree:) That is one large moon. I can never get shots like that.....the moon is very very tricky:)

  23. What a great site for the house. If it was in Melbourne, we would have built an office tower in front of it by now.

  24. Sure the house would be close to 4 or 5 million given the current real estate market in Perth.

The moon does render the house spooky. Witches inside the house? I think the colour does make one to ponder about that.
