Reflections in the windows of Zeno's seafood restaurant. I haven't had a meal at Zeno's for years and as I'm going there tonight with my 'skin and blisters' I checked the reviews..some good, some very bad. We will see for ourselves tonight, maybe I should let them know I write a blog and will be composing a review, I wonder if that would ensure good service and a well cooked meal haha! will fill you in tomorrow! I hope your week has started well, take care. p.s. I think the first image looks more like a distortion than a reflection don't you agree.....

Ooh am I first? :-) Yes it is slightly distorted, like a fisheye lens!
ReplyDeleteHave a grand time!
(No, we usually do have a few days of summer, lol! I don't know if it's global warming but the last few years have been rather dreary though..)
Looks like a great place to eat! Let us know if the food is good! I love the boats and you got some terrific reflections!
ReplyDeleteJa, es schaut ein bisschen wirr aus, etwas Ordnung könnte vielleicht helfen...:-)
ReplyDeleteLieben Gruß
CL
Very nice reflections...... good work.
ReplyDeleteNice job on the relections! I hope they have outdoor seating, or is it too cold in the Antipodes at this time of year?
ReplyDeleteI love the distortion, almost fun house mirror-ish! These are so postcard perfect - even if you end up not liking the food, they should be happy you visually showed them off so beautifully, haha! (And yes, would also love to hear how the food tastes:)
ReplyDeleteI like it - regardless of what you call it! I love the bright colors - and the wonderful feeling of freedom that I always get when I am near the water! Hope you have a good meal!
ReplyDeleteI use the "always go where the locals eat" that is usually where you get the best food, and service. Cool reflection photo.
ReplyDeleteIt does look distorted, but I like it that way! Hope you enjoy your meal.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous reflection! i like this first shot, it makes things strange, just enough..
ReplyDeletePictures look great and it seems like a nice place to eat.
ReplyDeleteEine schöne Reflexion egal ob verzerrt oder nicht.
ReplyDeleteGruß
Noke
A busy, intriguing reflection! Looks like the view of a crazy mirror! Very colourful!
ReplyDeleteThis place looks beautiful to dine in.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you used the fish eye lens in the first shot until I saw it was a reflection off the mirror itself.
Cleverly done
What an interesting and lovely area - I will have to go there (next time)I visit, and yes I wondered too (at first) if you'd used a fish-eye lens!
ReplyDeletethe deal place for a fruits-de-Mer platter .... look forward to hearing what you have .... Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, it looks like a Puzzle, ending up in beauty, as the meal probably has a well. Please have a good Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteCool! Looks like a painting of some sort. Have a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteYou got really clear reflections, Grace.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is some reflection.
ReplyDeleteEven if the food isn't great, it really has nice views:) As for the blog, sometimes I mention it....sometimes I don't. But for great great insight on those million dollar photo shoots, I always mention that I write for a blog and usually get a little more insight from the people running the program. Enjoy your dinner.
ReplyDeleteHope it was a good one. Don't rely on reviews; they can be very misleading.
ReplyDeleteTerrific reflections...and that's a good review!
Can't wait to hear how dinner turned out! Hope it was great.
ReplyDeleteEven if it’s a little bit distorted, it’s still a great shot. I can’t wait to read your review.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos..
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your night out and look forward to reading the review.
Also looks like you are enjoying beautiful weather too.
Love the reflections. nice sharp colors and a nice place.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good time!?
Great idea of the zooming out concept. The place have an excellent view of that marina!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab place for a restaurant. No doubt seafood is their speciality. Do give it a review. I would be interested to hear if you enjoyed it. PS great reflections.
ReplyDeleteyou've whetted our appetites.
ReplyDeleteFantastic series. The reflections are superb. I love the way they're divided by the panes of glass. I like everything about these shots; as you know, boats and water are two of my favorite things. There's one other favorite thing but I'm not gonna talk about that. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the colors. Hope your meal was great!
ReplyDeletethe first one looks a lot like a David Hockney photo .. I quite like it ... 'spain 'skin and blister' .. and we, Toonman and I, went to dinner locally (he really doesnt like leaving his comfort zone, sigh) at a small Italian restaurant someone I know recommended ... next time I will quiz the recommender closely ... the place is part of American Express/Delta Airlines promotion so it seemed a good idea to go ... well it was not great, not good .. and then I got an email asking me for a review .. uh oh .. I was honest .. its on Facebook and the Delta Dining website ..
ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures, Grace!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeletewonderful and interesting scenes - photographs!
Regards Senna
Hehe, clever! Skin and blisters, you turning into an eastender, luv!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are great especially the first one. Actually, I thought it was a painting. I had to look twice.
ReplyDeleteGrace, these reflections are so wonderful (and colorful!) that it is extremely difficult to distinguish reality from the reflection.
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for sailboats anyway!
Bises,
Genie
I like that first one alot. Bright! Love reading reviews of food places. People are fickle.
ReplyDeleteLove the roofs on the top shot.
ReplyDeleteP.S. My profile pic is a 'friend' I met in Tanzania. :-)
