Twilight blues.....

Taken from the south side of the Swan River as the evening sun slides down over Perth City. I had a bit of fun with the help of the new and improved Picasa.  I used a touch of focal zoom, saturation and lomo'ed around the edges for that surreal feel. The original untouched version is below, whichever one you prefer, there's no denying, Perth sure looks pretty in the twilight oui? p.s. it RAINED last night in Perth, the smell after such a long dry spell was divine! Have a wonderful Friday.....

  3. Glad you got rain. They are saying that we may get some snow tomorrow after having +28˚C temps last week! Typical March weather for us.

  9. Very cool. Your final version was worth the work. It gives me the impression of zooming across the water toward downtown in a speed boat.

  28. It's a beautiful shot, no matter what, but I really like what you did with the first one! Loverly!!!

Actually, that skyline reminds me of shots I've taken of Miami across the bay. Very similar.
