Ecstasy and agony....!
This was without doubt the most delicious chocolate croissant I've EVER eaten (well outside of Paris anyway!), and believe me I have had a few. You can see the choccy oozing from the middle of the warm pastry, well worth the time I'll have to spend on the cross trainer to ensure that it doesn't settle permanently on my nether regions haha!! On Thursday we went to Fremantle, there was a particular shot that I wanted to get, which I didn't, but I did get a few others that I 'm pretty pleased with (like yesterday's post). This luscious croissant was from The Fremantle Bakehouse one of the many cafes along the Cappuccino Strip on South Terrace, it was worth the trip for this alone! I do hope you experience something delicious in your day today.....!!

Oh, so cruel! I am watching my food intake (again!...sigh)...so yummy chocolate croissants are not in my immediate future...but I loved the photo of it anyway! Have a great day today! It is rainy here...and definitely colder than it was earlier!
ReplyDeleteI just love that croissant shot Grace. It looks so delicious!
ReplyDeleteMy dear Grace,
ReplyDeleteThis is simply not fair. I mean, please, my mouth is watering, my brain has quit working, and all I can think about is chocolate!
I think I'm going to have to take a long walk, read a big book, watch a really exciting movie to see if I can get past this!
Sheesh! You sure know how to get to a guy! :-))
It's lovely. Good for you. And thanks for the very nice photos...and we've moved our blogs back to Blogger 'cause it seems easier for everyone involved!
Thanks for you support!
That has to be the largest croissant I have ever seen and probably the most chocolaty one too!
ReplyDeleteI read on one of the blogs that CDP did indeed get hacked but that they were hoping to be back up some time this weekend. Fingers crossed.
Looks a bit sickly for me....
ReplyDeleteOh, my, I don't think I could handle that! Glad you liked it.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I could handle it either, but oh, it does look yummy!! Looks as if you're having a great and tasty weekend, Grace!!

ReplyDeletei fear after looking at this that my grape nuts and yogurt will not be terribly satisfying this morning.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness I baked a sour cherry crumble to compensate for this cruel photograph! I would love a walk on South Terrace!
ReplyDeletemy heart skip a beat when I saw your creamy coffee and delectable crepe. ^0^
ReplyDeletesweet treats indeed.
It looks absolutely delicious! I like those buildings and cafés in a row.
ReplyDeleteLooks good...but maybe just a tad too much chocolate for me. Yum all the same.
ReplyDeleteFantastic to see... luckily I don't have a sweet tooth.
ReplyDeleteHuuuuummm!I want one now!
ReplyDeleteLoved visiting there when I was in Fremantle, Grace.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!
Will have to talk to you about my favorite bakery one day. Kapitanis bakery, in Larnaca, Cyprus. Average weight of a chocolate croissant is 800 grams, nearly 2 pounds.
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious! A quite appropriate paraphrase of Irving Stone's title...
ReplyDeleteAhhhh.... a bakery at last!!! And people wonder why I'm a bakery addict!!!
