Twilight blues.....

Taken from the south side of the Swan River as the evening sun slides down over Perth City. I had a bit of fun with the help of the new and improved Picasa.  I used a touch of focal zoom, saturation and lomo'ed around the edges for that surreal feel. The original untouched version is below, whichever one you prefer, there's no denying, Perth sure looks pretty in the twilight oui? p.s. it RAINED last night in Perth, the smell after such a long dry spell was divine! Have a wonderful Friday.....

    Yes, I would agree, Grace, Perth is lovely. I do like the effects as well. It is fun to play around with and enhance the shots.

    Glad you got rain. They are saying that we may get some snow tomorrow after having +28˚C temps last week! Typical March weather for us.

    Not a fan of digital alteration to that extent but this one doesn't look too bad. The original is lovely.

    It's fun to play now and then! I've not tried many of the new effects in Picasa, but I use the TEXT thing for watermarking my photos now.

    Actually, that skyline reminds me of shots I've taken of Miami across the bay. Very similar.
