Today's post is a little out of context as it's the last stop before we made tracks for home but as it is World Earth Day today what better way to celebrate than with trees, trees, glorious trees. This was actually the highlight of the trip for me, walking amongst the towering karri trees that surround Pemberton, 327km south of Perth is intoxicating. There are five National Parks within a 20 minute drive so you can imagine how wonderfully oxygenated the air is. Pemberton is a tourist attraction for many reasons, see HERE, but for me it's all about those magnificent trees. Back to Margaret River tomorrow :) Happy Earth Day, take care and stay safe..
Amazing, and quite peaceful too.
ReplyDeleteThose are magnificent trees, Grace! Your lungs must have been thrilled to breathe the air there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to enjoy nature and to celebrate the earth. I can almost smell the fresh air.
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteThose are indeed majestic Eucalyptus trees!
Would be lovely to walk there.
Hugs,
Mariette

ReplyDeleteGrace, your post is perfect for Earth Day. What beautiful trees. You must have had a good walk here.
ReplyDeleteThose trails through the woods sure draw one in.
ReplyDeleteYou must feel there one with nature. How splendid that is.
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful forest with quite a bit of understorey growth.
ReplyDeleteTree our beautiful and so friendly.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Gentle Giants. Earth Day should be every day, Grace... I think "Corinna" helps a lot here. My T works from home since a year, no more useless driving (you can do IT from home, right? That´s what I wanted 16 years and Corinna made it do... for him).
ReplyDeleteRoad trips certainly need a car 😁🧡 Not useless at all!
Fantàstic ! Quina meravella poder passejar-hi per aquests boscos.
ReplyDeleteBona excursió ! :)
Amazing, Happy World Earth Day.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful those giant trees!
ReplyDeletePerfect choice for Earth Day.
ReplyDeleteThey are truly giants, you must have felt very tiny :-)

ReplyDeleteThe Pemberton area is magnificent. What great photos to celebrate Earth day Grace.
ReplyDeleteI remember driving through a karri forest like that, having to stop the car and glory at the wonderful tree, had to touch them and feel them, gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteInpressive is a good word here.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trees, bet it was so quiet out there.
